I've been taking/eating this particular molasses from House of Herbs for several years because of its high iron content (70% RDA/recommended dietary allowance). I am anemic and in that I'm vegetarian, technically pescatarian, I prefer more natural methods. I often put a spoonful in hot water and drink it as a tea for faster absorption; another way I take it is to put it in my oatmeal or cream of wheat; and it also goes well on a slice of toast or as the replacement of the 'J' in a PB&J sandwich. It's not sweet so definitely an acquired taste, but it has certainly helped in raising my blood levels and helping me to feel better. I've also recommended it to a couple other female friends with the same issues and they've commented that they are feeling much better, and their doctors are pleased with the results too. So, yes, I give it two thumbs up!

I have been using House of Herbs Molasses for several years and Love it! I don't like the sweetness you get from other brands and the Iron content is far greater then all others I have looked at. My only issue now is that they have raised the price way to high!!!

I got this originally to add to my one year old son's cereal because his doctor was worried about his low iron numbers. This stuff has an amazing amount of iron. It is 70% DRV in one serving, 1 TBLSPN. I don't use that much for him but I imagine in baby numbers it is almost his entire days needs in the little bit I put in his oatmeal. I even put it in my oatmeal now and use it in so many thing as a sweetener. Much better for you than the processed sweeteners out there. Who cares if it has 30 calories if it means you can stop using chemical junk to achieve a super sweet taste. 1 of the 3 did arrive with some leakage but it was minimal and easy to clean.

I have used this product for years. When I saw the new label I double checked the nutrition label to make sure this still had the 70% Iron content and it did (per the picture shown). I use this for anemia. However the 3 bottles I received only have 16% iron. Very frustrating considering that is not enough to help my chronic condition and it is non returnable. So if you are getting this for the high iron % be careful as it is not.

Great quality stuff. I ordered to help with symptoms of low iron & it helps. Will order again. No molasses tastes good, so I wasn't expecting it to but it does the trick. I mix with warm water & ACV.

Too early to tell

I have used House of Herbs blackstrap molasses for years and was so disappointed when our local store stopped carrying it. I was glad to find it on Amazon. I highly recommend House of Herbs molasses for its excellent taste and consistency.

House of Herbs used to b 70% iron which now it is only 16% which I was hoping for the higher amount bc needed that.
