Excellent bike
I got this bike based on cost, features and the number of positive reviews. The bike arrived in a few days and was quick and easy to assemble using the tools supplied. The bike feels solidly built and is very stable when in use. Although ordered for myself, both my wife and eldest son have decided they want to use it, so altering the seat has become necessary as the families height varies between 5ft 2 and 5ft 10, although you can’t alter the handlebars, the seat can quickly be adjusted for both height and reach. I’ve read a few reviews that said how comfortable the seat is but at first I found the opposite and after 30 minutes my backside ached more than my legs but after a week of daily use I got used to it and is now acceptable. The 2.5kg flywheel is larger than many bikes of this type and makes using the bike a smooth and quiet affair. I was a little hesitant about choosing this bike based on some of the reviews saying that its highest resistant level was too low, however, speaking as somebody in there fifties and not very fit, (hence the reason I bought the bike) I have found 4 or 5 gives me a good cardio workout, with the higher settings quite capable of toning muscle and burning off some fat. I like the digital display with its built in stand, I tend to favour the pulse monitor, it can sometimes be temperamental but dampening the palm of my hands with a wet wipe to increase conductivity gets it working. Ive compared its readings to a finger monitor and its pretty accurate. The stand is a great idea, by placing my tablet on it I can follow a exercise program I’ve downloaded but I could just as easily play a game or use my E-reader while exercising. When I’m finished it easily folds up and stores nicely under the stairs. This is an excellent bike for the money, for people who are already super fit and take regular trips to the gym its probably not for them but for the rest of us who just want to get back into shape and reduce some of that belly fat its perfect. At the moment I cannot vouch for its long term reliability as I've only been using it a couple of weeks but if I find any problems as I work my way back to fitness I will let you know.

Great bike and excellent value for money
I'm really enjoying using this bike. It was very easy to assemble (you only need to attach the seat, handle bars, monitor and cups on to the feet) and as mentioned in other reviews, all the nuts and bolts are already in the right places, they just need unscrewing to attached the seat, handle bars etc. The bike is very quiet so can be used whilst someone else is watching TV without causing disturbance. It's very heavy but easy to fold away and wheel to wherever you are storing it, I wouldn't recommend lugging it up and down the stairs unless you want to cause yourself an injury or do some weight training! The only issue I have is a numb bum, the seat is a bit uncomfortable but I've found that if I lower it slightly and sometimes put a small cushion on the seat, it's a bit more comfy. The monitor works really well and is easy to use, it keeps track of your progress or you can reset it for each session you do. There is a dial to use to increase the resistance, ranging from 1 to 8, the highest setting may be a bit too easy for some but either way it's a great bike to get your fitness levels up!

Would recommend.
Exactly what you would expect for the price ( I paid £63 ). Not gym quality but much cheaper than annual subscription and you will probably be able to get fit in front of the telly. I'm 5'3" and 11st7lb and the seat height has lots of room for adjustment up, a bit down as well, so the OH can have a go. It's comfy too. Though when I've worn it in a bit I will probably buy a gel cover eventually. It's very quiet, barely a creak and I live in a top floor flat with wooden floors. Resistance settings make a noticeable difference though not extreme, more moderately resistant. Computer is pretty useful, basic looking but if you set it to scan it loops round a cycle of the setting on the screen which takes about 30 secs which you can use as a guide for your intervals if you are planning a varied cardio workout. Screws are all already located in the correct holes so you have to look at the guide that comes with it, unscrew and then attach together, very simple. Took me about 20 leisurely mins on my own. *tip* the stabiliser with the wheels goes on the front facing away from the bike, you can see from the photo but the info isn't included in the instructions. This is very handy for carting the thing into another room when it's been folded for storage. The clip for the computer is the only bit I don't like, cheap plastic and the screw barely fit.

Fantastic purchase!
I had a total knee replacement in July 2014. Unfortunately, I only got my knee to bend to 70° and had to have my knee manipulated at the end of September. This helped by bending my knee more! I then continued with my excercises until my physio put me on an exercise bike in the gym. Just the thought of bending my knee to accomplish going full circle, I thought I could/would never succeed! Going on the exercise bike only started 6 weeks ago after I was able to now bend my knee bent to approx 80°. I commenced by pedalling so far forward and then pedalling so far backwards. I decided on purchasing this bike after reading the reviews. WHAT A BRILLIANT DECISION! I practised once a day at home and by doing this I was able to cycle properly. My physio said it was excellent as it takes a lot to achieve this so quickly. My knee bend is 100+° and I still go on the bike most evenings. I finished with my physio on 10 December 2014. This bike has helped me significantly! It does exactly what it says in the description ie, monitoring etc! It looks/is exactly like the picture. What a brilliant bargain! I would highly recommend this bike and what a reduction in price. The low noise causes no disturbance. You can watch the TV quietly whilst you do your peddling! It's a fight between me and partner as to who goes on it first! That's simple.....me.... I purchased it!! This is a brilliant bargain for me as I need my other knee replacing which will be early in 2015. This is superb for excercising too. It's perfect! It does exactly what it's supposed to do without you feeling you have to go over-the-top and overdo it. You can simply increase the cycling pressure, but I'm happy at the stage I'm at! The bike is simply..'more than adequate and absolutely appropriate!' Job well done!!

It is a good stationary cycle
It is a good stationary cycle. No chain, but it does the job if you have the discipline to stay with it! Easy to assemble, not too heavy, quiet and the fluorescent pink with the black are striking colours.

Great value and easy to assemble
Having read a number of reviews for 'Basic' exercise bikes, I plumped for this one. Although there are a few negative comments on how easy/difficult it is to put together, I found it pretty straightforward although the instructions supplied were pretty basic. Out of the box, the main frame assembly is all done, you only have to attach the two floor supports, handles, seat pad onto the seat adjustment plate, pedals and the digital read out/information display. It may sound a lot, but I had it all done within about 40 minutes - The only 'scratch' my head moment was one of the floor supports has a couple of little wheels, obviously to assist in moving it about when folded up - On the instructions supplied, you can't tell which support is which, so I fitted this one to the front - It made sense to me as when folded, it was easy to use the seat as a hold to move it around, but I think this is down to personal choice. Another point I did like, is that all the relevant bolts/washers etc were in situ so there was no having to work out which bolt went with which part which I have in the past found frustrating when putting things together. The clip that the monitor display fits into again was not very clear on the instructions, but it just simply slides onto it, not obvious, but again you can't go wrong as it will only slide on one way. The wires are easy to connect up as they have male/female clips, so just a matter of clicking together. It comes with the necessary spanner, allen/screwdriver key so no need to go hunting for tools! The bike itself when in use, is whisper quiet - I could very easily have watched TV etc while on it and felt very stable and sturdy - The monitor information was easy to see, though again the instructions for it are petty basic, and found pressing the mode button either allowed you to leave it on time/dist/pulse etc or you can have it set to scroll through all the varied readings every few seconds while using it. Although the instructions appeared to suggest you could set units between KM/MPH, I have not found a way to change the default of KM/KPH, but that is no real issue to me personally - As for the pulse rate setting, again how accurate it is I am not sure, but certainly after a few minutes the reading did start to increase, and when I was finishing by slowing my pedaling, again the rate did slowly start to reduce. I found the seat comfortable, and the height adjustment easy - I am 5'8" and my partner who is 5'6" and had to lower the seat both found it comfortable to use. As for the resistance - Well, this is why I only gave it 4* to be as honest as I can - If you are somebody like me, who is using it as an 'extra' bit of way of getting some exercise into a usual normal 'sedentary' lifestyle, it is very good and I should say, that I have a neuro/muscular condition which limits my mobility and found it ideal (Although I have only had it a couple of days, I have used it for over an hour!) - I moved it to setting 4 which I found gave me enough resistance to start with - However if you are someone who is a regular gym user/runner/exerciser, then I don't think you will find it much of challenge/workout even at the highest setting. Overall in my opinion this is an excellent piece of equipment for the price, sturdy and well put together and can recommend it!

Disappointed!
Managed to put the bike together but came to fitting the right pedal, had difficulty fitting it, wouldn't even go 1/3 of the way. Left hand side was no problem (also noticed that both the cranks were labeled L for left?). Numerous attempts by myself and others to align the tread correctly but still to no avail. If you happen to peddle with it just a 1/3 of the way, the pedal falls off mid cycle. Really annoyed as I bought 2 of these (one for family friend, hopefully that one isn't faulty!), and can't even speak to someone to send a replacement part rather than dismantling the whole thing again and returning it which wouldn't be a problem if it was smaller/easier :( Such a small problem yet causes such inconvenience. Better off getting it looked at by a bicycle shop, still more costs though. Thanks a lot Amazon...

There are six bolts.
Firstly the product is amazing, I've downsized from a fancy pants top of the line exercise bike because it simply didn't fit in my new house. Flywheel is sturdier than the other folding bikes, light use of 20mins a day it's going to last 5 years+, like a hoover the belt only lasts for so long. Heavy use, as I'm I'm using this like I would do if it were in a home gym heavy, it's lasting a year or so. It's a compromise between saving space and durability. Tension is actually impressive, people with rugby player thighs might actually be ok with 6-8 but then hit the limit, but then is you are at this level then you are going to know this. Height adjust has a nice range on it, I got long legs, my daughter is 5 ft in her socks and the lowest is fine if you remember to bring the seat forward. Seat is a nice one, your backside will get used to it. The computer actually has some nice features, you can reset the time and kilometres separately and it automatically pauses when you stop. You can't upload anything from it but you can manually set activities on the garmin and strava (I strongly recommend this app/website, it's free, been around years, and will help you keep track) Unsolicited advice: when the pedal is at the top your knee should be lower than your hip, and when it's at the bottom the ball of your foot should be flat without the back of your knee feeling tight. On a push bike this freaks people out because they find they can't put their foot flat on the floor on stopping but on a stationary bike it matters not. However. I almost did not buy this because lots of people said it was overly complicated to assemble. Turns out these people are screaming morons. Six bolts, I chit you not, people were freaking out and one staring over *six* bolts, that came with the tools on a handy vacuum packed nicely labelled bit of cardboard. Did people not realise that the manual was a maintenance manual? Which is good because if it breaks out of warranty then someone can come and fix it for you. Look at the pictures, it shows you exactly where those six bolts go. I swear to god you people are the reason that stuff like sofas come with warning labels on them saying "do not eat"

ottimo prodotto e rapporto qualità-prezzo
