You will need a high-pressure air compressor capable of producing 4500 psi, and you will need to ensure the air is dry and clean. Using a high-pressure manual pump, it would take over 500 cycles to raise a 0.5L cylinder to 3000 psi.

Q4: Can I use a regular air pump or tire inflator to fill it?

No. Standard air pumps, tire inflators, or low-pressure compressors cannot reach the required pressure and should not be used. Only professional high-pressure scuba filling equipment is suitable.
