Having used Keurig for longer then I can remember, but having a new Keurig single serve coffee maker break after 6 months I decided to switch and try Ninja. No regrets. It is nice and thin, though taller then I expected, being in an RV size matters, so perfect in width, and while the height was unexpected, still workable and storable. Very quiet while brewing and water tank holds a surprising good amount of coffee. Like the brew speed, and type of brew options and 4 cup amount options that I didn't have before. The design also allow for adding creamer while the the coffee is being made. For me a heavy coffee drinker so far it has the value for the money paid. Also nifty build in storage for coffee grounds pod if not want K-Cup

This is perfect for my small kitchen. It does both ground and kcup coffee. If you do the ground option yes it does stop for a moment but picks right back up. Its just trying to pull water from the reservoir and then heat it. Dont think it is broken, its not....thats how it works. Perfect scooper for the ground basket. It also can use the 1 needle reusable kcups so you can brew your own coffee instead of buying kcups. No odor except the nice brew of the coffee. Not very heavy at all. Comes with scooper, the basket for ground coffee and the kcup holder. If you are using either or, the other has a compartment holder to store it at, at the bottom side of the machine (so no losing it).

I have to say that this might be the best coffee maker I've had. Super simple to set up, ran it through a clean cycle and then made my 1st cup ... really fast, really hot and delicious! I had a two in one Cuisinart and I never used the coffee pot side. So it was time for something a little more compact and after reading all of the reviews on this ninja, I pulled the trigger. Really glad I did! It is so fast!

I’ve had nothing but Keurigs before this purchase. The old Keurig died, and when buying the new one thought the prices were too high. Looked at other brands, have used and like my Ninja fryer and blender. Bought this one. It works, the coffee seems hotter than Keurig. Brew speed about the same. So far so good. The less good aspects are the water tank is small and not the most convenient spot. Subjectively it does not look “right” in my kitchen. It seems out of place. Maybe I’m just used to seeing the old Keurig, but it does look out of place. Probably means I need to do a 40,000 kitchen update to match this coffee maker.

Works well with K-Pods, but the end result is not as strong and bold as the added features the Keurig pod brewers offer. I brewed a dark-roast pod the morning after I received the delivery - it was an acceptable brew, but because it wasn’t as strong as the Keurig it replaced, the sweetener and creamer stood out over the flavor of the coffee. My problem is, I make EXACTLY the same cup of coffee every day - I add the same amount of agave nectar and the same amount of half and half… When the end result is different for ’the same cup of coffee', you can tell it.
