Can you install this without a gap at the bottom? I need slide/swing gate, solid surface, for ferrets.

No, it has a gap of a few inches at the bottom. The only way that MIGHT work is if you were installing it at the top of some stairs and you were able to install it slightly below the level of the top step so that it could be more or less flush with the floor.

Can you convert this to pressure mount? If so, what parts are needed?

The Crystal Hardware Mount cannot be converted to the Crystal Pressure Mount. You will need to purchase the Pressure Mount version if that is what you need. Please note that Pressure Mounted Gates are NOT to be installed at the top of the stairs due to the trip hazard the frame creates.

Can this be installed with a wrought iron railing and a mirror wall?

The Qdos Crystal Hardware Mount Gate will required drilling into the wall. For the wrought iron railing, we would suggest purchasing the Qdos Universal Stair Mounting Kit, but the mirror wall we are not certain how you would be able to secure it.
