Tactical Warrior Tanto Full Tang Emergency Outdoor Survival Gear Boot Knife

I've purchased 3 of these knives over the past few years. I originally bought this to use as a boot knife, however as you will read in other reviews, the handle will rub and poke you in the leg if you lace it like they have in the picture. I do not recommend as a boot knife. I later found its true calling... I now wear this knife around my neck when I'm kayaking. And I do a lot of kayaking. Whether I'm fishing or going out for a weekend camping trip on the river, it is convenient and always in reach. All in all, its a handy blade to have in my collection and a great bargain for the price. To the ones that are knocking the quality of this knife and giving it poor reviews, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? ITS A $7 KNIFE!!!

Great daily knife. I use it to open boxes at work and I prefer a fixed blade. The blade fits firmly Iinto the sheath and takes some effort to take out ( which is great for saftey). I had to sharpen it our of the box because it came rather dull bit that was a easy remidy with a whet stone.

Good little knife came Razer Sharp but 4 small problems. 1 it's hard to pull out or replace the knife in to the case. 2 the image shows a ball necklace and it came with a plastic rope. 3 there is only 2 holes in the sheath so it will be hard to mount it to a boot and be stabal 4 the whistle is loud but not very stable when I pulled it out it fell about 6 inches and the inner part of the whistle went flying across the room. If I was out in the woods I may never have found it and it took some time to fit it in right. The only real complaints I have is about the sheath but the knife is good. But the only complaint I have about the knife it self is I wish it was just a bit thicker. All and all it's a good knife.

I am neutral about this knife. I wanted a knife for running, needing very basic cutting abilities. That's exactly what I got, nothing more. Negatives: The rope it came with was too long, swapped it for a beaded chain. Running with it was alright, not worried it would fall out, the bounce was minimum. The metal feels like it will snap under pressure. The blade could be sharper, and is a bit awkward to sharpen due to the curve and the flat back. Too light to throw. The knife has left me a bit wanting, but is a good knife for exactly what I wanted.

I was very impressed with this product. The cost was very low but the quality was still very good. The knife was very sharp. and it keeps its edge with use. One feature that I really liked is that the knife locks in place in the sheath. It can be worn around your neck as a neck tie knife. Or on your boot. very good piece especially for a secondary knife.

This is a great knife for the money. It is a full tang knife so the odds of it breaking are greatly reduced, and at the same time it is light weight and easily manipulated. The hard case that it comes with is sturdy and wont crack easily. It is easy enough to secure on to your boot either underneath the laces or on the side. The only thing that sucks about the knife is the "whistle". For those that did not notice, the sheath this knife comes with has a whistle built in. It doesn't work at all and is kind of a silly feature. Luckily like most of you I didn't buy this knife because the sheath has a nifty built in whistle so it really doesn't bother me. All in all a good knife for the money, buy with confidence.

Very inexpensive yet quite functional. Great value for the money, as a backup or tertiary blade. Not sturdy enough to function as a primary tool but very lightweight and low profile, so it makes an excellent concealed backup. I bought several. They are so inexpensive that they can nearly be seen as disposable! They'll find work as backup blades in the truck, go bag, and elsewhere.

This does not work well as boot knife. While you're walking, the bottom of the sheath digs into the top of your foot, then when you step up - the top of the knife digs into your shin. When I got this knife, it wouldn't cut hot butter. If it's supposed to be a boot knife - it'll take at least 5 minutes to unlace your boot so you can use the whistle, what an IDIOTIC IDEA! Save your money people & buy a knife that says Gerber or Kershaw on it. I put mine in my filing cabinet with all the rest of my junk I don't use.

Very pleased with this knife. Comfortable to wear / carry, well made.

As advertised, seems like decent quality.
