The gel helps me and my little dog too
I've been using this for some time and find it really helps my dry eye condition. Last week I took my old dog to the vet to have his eyes checked. The vet diagnosed him as suffering from dry eye. I said to the vet that I suffered from dry eye and that I used a gel for it. She asked me to email her about the gel that I used. I sent her the info and the vet phoned back to say I could use the gel for my little dog Ollie. So I am sharing my gel with him. I noticed immediate improvement in his eyes.

Exactly what I needed-an actual gel. Not drops or ointment.
I have extreme dry eyes, regular eye drops just roll off my eyes (kind of like pouring water on hard packed dry ground). I used the Genteal brand eye gel for years. I put a ribbon of it on my lower lid and it stays and actually hydrates my eyes. It is especially vital at night. I use the ointment in addition.They stopped making the eye gel.You can find “gel drops” (seriously just eye drops. Maybe slightly more viscous. But just run off my eyes.). I have spent a lot of money trying all of the “gel drops”. None of them even came close.The ointments are petroleum based and are great for keeping moisture in but do not add moisture.I cannot tell you how happy I was to find this! It is just like the Genteal Gel!!It makes the world of difference for me. Literally. The difference of waking up to my eyes so dry they are stuck to the eye lid. And the pain associated with dry eyes. As well as decreased ability to focus/see. My Dry eyes are no joke.This is a GEL. You don’t put “drops” of this in your eyes- you put a ribbon of gel. Yes, you will have blurred vision for a brief period as it absorbs. Worth it tho.I am so grateful to find this!

This really works!
I have severe dry eyes and I use an eye gel at bedtime. The eye ointments do not work for me, they just seal my eyes together so I can barely open them in the morning. I had been using Systane nighttime eye gel but this has apparently been discontinued as I can’t find it anymore. I have been trying to find an alternative one and I found the Lumecare carbomer soothing eye gel. IT WORKS GREAT! My eyes are moist in the morning and not dried out! I hope it never gets discontinued!
