Great battery grip for price
Better quality than expected. Love the ergonomics it provides for portrait shooting. It obviously isn't going to have the weather proofing that the canon brand would. Rubber grip texture might come off in the future after some more use but i don't think it will be a problem anytime soon and could easily be fixed with some super glue or something if it does start to peel off.

I like this product, it fit perfectly. The grip works as it is intended! I am happy with my purchase.

Nope
Although the idea of a much less exspensive BG is appealing there's a reason why it's so cheap. I was only able to get approx 50 shots using this before it started to fail. First it worked great, then it began to act up, several times it wouldn't actually take a the photo despite the shutter snapping like it did. The final straw was it began indicating that I had no battery left despite having two full batteries in it, and because it was saying it was dead it wouldn't allow to take photos. I ultimately took the batteries out and removed the BG, and shot pictures for 4 hours on my supposedly dead battery. Save yourself $40 and DO NOT BUY .

Cheaply made
The quilt of the battery grip is cheap and I know it is pretty cheap but you are better off buying a used canon brand for around the same price.
