I recently bought a rife with a scope. I used this in the back yard to see if the scope that came with the rifle was close to being on target. I was able to verify that it was close. I also took this to the local shooting range to check against a target and make an adjustment. This saved me shooting a bunch of ammo to get the scope lined up. It was easy to use. The quality is great. I was able to easily see the red dot at 25 yards. This can save you money. I do recommend this.

Works great. Put it on my .17 HMR and got me on target and was only off by an inch or so. Took no time to zero it in.

The magnet is weak and its tricky to center but it reduces the margin of error when zeroing without going to the range. Its just another tool in the bag thats all

Buy a different bore sight. Magnet is weak does not stay in place on my barrel making this a useless product. Also very hard to line up perfectly center.

Listen, trying to zero a micro pistol is already an exercise in testing your blood pressure. Most chamber inserts I have tried are either laughably too long or wobble around like a toddler on a sugar rush every time you insert and remove them. I really wanted this CVLIFE magnetic sight to be my knight in shining armor. Spoiler alert: it was not. The fatal flaw? Trying to keep this magnet perfectly centered on a tiny pistol barrel is basically impossible. You absolutely cannot see the alignment circles on the back of the magnet once it is attached to a micro pistol. Sure, if you are slapping this onto a long gun where you have plenty of visible surface area, you will probably feel like a tactical genius. But on a small pistol? You are just shooting laser beams into the abyss and hoping for the best. Here is a free million-dollar idea for the manufacturer: add a threaded insert to the magnet for barrel adapters so it can actually sit snug and perfectly centered inside the barrel. Overall, it is a neat concept, but totally non-functional for pistols. I am going back to old-school grouping to zero my micro. Save this one for your rifles!

Works good for getting you in the ballpark. Better adhesion on larger surfaces like muzzle brakes or larger diameter barrels. On thin barrels it will slide a bit down. But it hasn't fallen off yet.

Very weak magnet it shifts on slightest movement. Sticking it on other metal surfaces like a fridge is also weak, let alone a quality barrelnthat has high carbon iron.

i used this on an air rifle that i could not pre setup with an insertable laser gauge cause it would not fit properly. this magnetic one was able to pre set my elevation no problem but i did not have enough windage. that is probably a scope ring problem.
