Faucet Cartridge Replacement, 2 Pcs Brass, 1/2" Thread, 20 Teeth

In any repair, the only thing that succeeds is the CORRECT part. These replacement faucet cartridges were exactly correct. They are well made and very robust. Much better than the plastic replacements that were available at the big box store and less expensive to boot. Installation was easy and flawless. Nothing is better than having a repair project go according to plan with the right parts.

Installed on a 2007 Kohler Coralais Tub Faucet. Easy install with a little prep. You will need to save the stem adapters from your old valves to put on this one for the KOHLER CORALAIS FAUCET. And yes, as other reviews mention the worst part is removing the old valve. After reading other reviews, we prepared for removal problems on the 15 yr old valves by removing the handles and giving the old valves several soaks of PB Blaster beforehand throughout the day. We also used an 18" breaker bar with 5/8" socket for removal. Thankfully, they both popped loose without spinning. New valves went in easy but they do require a larger socket size(can't remember size but bigger than 5/8"). Also we used some silicone plumber's grease to install new valves to ease changeout next time. Don't overtighten new valves. Works perfectly.

It was probably my fault but I ordered apparently the wrong size of this, I was trying to swap out on older RV shower. The existing lines wouldn't connect to it. BUT the quality seemed okay anyway, and I really wish it would have worked. Sending it back wasn't an issue and that's why I still give it a good rating. Maybe a great item but wasn't for me.

Went to Ace Hardware and Home Depot and a local hardware store. None had a cartridge that came close to what I needed. Finally chose to check Amazon. And it fits perfectly! Was able to fix the leaking faucet in my bathroom. I only needed the one for Cold tap. But since I came in a pack of Hot and Cold, decided to replace both! The price of both together beat the price of one that was being sold in the stores!! And people wonder why I buy everything on Amazon! Great product! Great value! And easy to install.

I was skeptical but they worked well. I have been buying genuine kohler cartridges from Amazon (not third party) over the years but they keep failing maybe 2-3 years life time. I decided to try this one. Their size is smaller than the original Kohler but fit fine in the end. It has been two years and they still working well.

The item seems to be make with good materials, but some of the measurements seem to be out of tolerance. The fluted stem top did not fit properly. One set of the threads on the body of the cartridge also did not fit well. The price was attractive, but it is deceiving. I suppose it is possible I got a cartridge that some slipped through quality control. Regardless, the item does not work for me.

These little valves saved us going through a 3.5k bathroom ordeal. Our plumber said he could not fix our leaky (unknown manufacturer) hot faucet after he went to the plumbing supply co. and found no replacement valves. He added that we would have to bust out the wall tiles, remove the vessel sink and vanity, and then replace the whole stem mechanism with whatever new replacement faucet we bought. No tile person wanted such a small job and only expensive bathroom remodelers were interested for the hefty price of three and a half thousand dollars. After living without hot water for a few months, I finally went back to the plumbing supply store and asked for the closest match they had, which fit and worked okay but was a bit too long for the rest of the hardware. I then scoured Amazon for a better match and found these babies at a 1/3 of the price. They fit like a glove, and now I have a fixed faucet for under $10! If you have a cheaper (Chinese?) wall mount faucet like mine, remove the old valve and see if this valve matches yours. For $10 it's worth the try. I will not call back our plumber in the future for being an idiot.

These faucet inserts are not high quality, but they fit in my faucet, and they work. These replacements were the only ones I could find for my generic faucet from Home Depot. The bad news is that last about 2 years before starting to leak. The good news is that they are only around 7 bucks for the pair. I'm planning on doing a remodel of the my bathroom within the next year or two, so they will tide me over till then.

Produits reçus de bonne qualité, pas de fuite après installation. Par contre, le filetage supérieur est juste au dessus du siège, je n'avais pas fait attention à ce détail. Du coup, les caches de mon ancien robinet entre la tête et le croisillon de commande ne se vissent pas dessus, obligé de racheter un modèle de tête où le filetage supérieur est surélevé de quelques mm.
