Yes. I have been using this watch for over ten years and changed the battery at least 5 times already without problem. It is still going strong.

I don't know, purchased it March 16 2017, I haven't changed the battery yet.

Can this fit a large wrist

My wrist is 7" around. It fits me a little loose. I can't remember if the watch came with extra links.
