What makes the CORE 500 different from other stethoscopes?

The CORE 500 modernizes the stethoscope with 3-lead ECG, AI detection, 40x sound amplification, noise cancellation, and waveform visualization. This enhances exam accuracy and aids in detecting diseases often missed by traditional stethoscopes.

Who is the CORE 500 designed for?

It’s designed for clinicians who need to listen to heart and lung sounds with precision, work in settings with background noise, or regularly assess patients for arrhythmias such as AFib. It can be used in outpatient and inpatient settings.

What is Eko+ membership, and is it required to use the CORE 500?

Eko+ membership is required to save recordings and run Eko AI analysis. Enjoy a 14-day free trial with purchase; membership auto-renews at US$119.99/year unless canceled. Prices shown in local currency where Eko+ is offered. Taxes and fees may apply.

Can the CORE 500 be used with Bluetooth-enabled headphones or hearing aids?

The CORE 500 can be used with wireless listening devices such as Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids or headphones when connected through the Eko App. For the best audio quality, listening through your mobile device’s built-in speaker is not recommended.

How do clinicians use Eko AI in their practice?

Eko AI is FDA-cleared software that uses screening algorithms to help clinicians detect suspected abnormalities. The findings are not diagnoses but serve to aid clinicians in reaching an accurate and confident diagnosis quickly.
