Got this for my 13 year old for Christmas. It was easy to set up and control from her phone. Lots of cute cartoon animations to choose from, or she can draw her own. The pictures are simple pixel art but very bright and colorful. Batteries seem to last a few hours, but I primarily have it plugged in.

I love Pixoos. They’re super fun to play with; I like making new designs for it, and it’s fun to go through their marketplace and find designs made by other people. This particular model is bluetooth. I think that’s fine if you intend to use it outside of your home, but for me it’s kind of a letdown. I’ve had issues with it not pairing, and it appears to only let one phone be paired at a time—at least with mine. Compared to the wifi model, which lets multiple devices have access at once, this one is a little finicky. This model also has a pretty large bezel. Personally I prefer a smaller bezel; the Pixoo 16 which has a smaller bezel also ends up with a larger screen because of it. Overall, I think the Pixoo is great. This model isn’t as ideal for me as their 16, but it’s still a great little combo of decor & toy.
