Not certain if It is stainless steel. it is powder coated. It is black. In my home these have worked very well.

I want to keep the guide on the floor but raise the wheel half an inch or so. Is there any way to do that?

Works very well a seems durable.

Works great on keeping barn door in line and not swinging out. Smooth operation and seems durable enough alloy metal. Nice touch to mount on wall and not floor.

Replacement for old unit

I installed a new garage side door in the "Barn door style" which had stainless fittings for the outside use. The new guide replaced an old rusty version which did little to guide the old door now replaced. The guide arrived very quickly and was easy to fit and is well made and should last for a while. Good product and happy.

These work great and are very sturdy.
