However, it has a bit of an old or stale scent, like it’s been sitting on a shelf for a while, which is a little off-putting. Also, the texture is very soft and a bit too delicate to apply directly to the skin. I have to use my finger to apply it, because when I try to glide it on as described, too much product comes off. I’ve only used it for a week, so I can’t attest to its brightening and evening abilities. It is very hydrating and feels nice. But it is much thicker and goes on more like a sun screen. It takes a while to soak in. Where as a serum you can quickly layer the moisturizer on and then makeup routine. Directions say 10 minutes before moisturizer, but I would not use this if you have somewhere to be within an hour. Overall nice product but stick is a little more like a melted chapstick consistency, messier than I realized. I would not consider it lightweight if you are layering products quickly. Also my packaging looked like it could have been returned and the stick inside if used once or opened.
