Marcy Under Desk Pedal Exerciser, Portable Mini Bike Cycle for Legs & Arms

This pedal exerciser was easy to assemble and is solidly built. It also is reasonably priced. My wife has enjoyed using it so far.

Well Made, very sturdy, should last a long time. Smooth operation and stays in place, does NOT slide while using it. Like all exercise cycles of this type, the tension adjustment doesn't do much but you still get a good workout, works the legs (arms too) and an excellent cardio work out. I also used in as therapy for an arthritis flare up in the knee. Nice size display, easy to see it while using. You can read, watch TV, listen to podcasts/music while exercising, easy to fit in exercise in anyone's schedule. I have had and worn out several cycles in the past but this one is the best yet! I highly recommend it.

Lets just say im almost 38 and havent worked out since freshman year in college. Hey, dont judge me LOL. Im sure most people picked up some weight over the pandemic. I wish i would have ordered this during the pandemic so that i could be at my goal by now. Im far from overweight, im 5'4 and 125 lbs but Im using this machine to tone up my lower body. I am self employed and work from home so i have lots of free time to use this. I often get charlie horses after sitting too long that start at my ankles so this will help that. I also fall asleep on the couch sitting up which results in my ankles swelling. Last night, i tried this for the first time and it reduced the swelling. I only did 150 pedals but considering i never exercise i felt the burning in the back of my thighs. Again, dont judge me LOL! My goal is to use this every night while watching tv and gradually increase the number of pedals biweekly. Many reviews complained about the resistance in the machine. You have to adjust the belt UNDER the machine then turn the knob UNDER THE SCREEN until you cant turn it anymore. You cant just turn the knob and expect it to be at its highest setting. After every use you should reset the belt and knob. This machine isnt for someone who is very active and exercise at a gym on a regular basis. Its great for elderly people, as an at home physical therapy alternative, and for the couch potato who never exercises. If you are expecting more out of this then buy an actual bike. I noticed that most of the other machines had straps to insert your feet inside of when pedaling. Many also stated that those straps didnt adjust therefore users with large feet couldnt use the machine. This machine doesnt have the straps and i didnt have any slips when using. This machine was also placed on carpet that also has an area rug and the machine stayed in place the entire use. You will need 1 AAA battery to start the screen and it is NOT included. It's amazing the number of people who complained about the battery not being included. Take the battery out of your tv remote and get busy exercising. It's simple! Who doesnt have a AAA battery in their home in 2022? I was very pleased with the product and it went beyond my expectations considering the many negative reviews. I also researched which brand of Amazon machine was the best and this brand was on many website articles Top Ten list. The price was also way less than advertised on those articles so that was an even bigger bonus.

This mini-bike is a perfect exercise machine if you are desk bound for hours behind a computer screen. I use it to keep me moving since my work puts me behind a computer screen every day for 7 hours. it's easy to use the bike and use the computer at the same time which is not possible with a treadmill or an elliptical machine. It surely won't replace both of these equipments but it's a great add-on for busy days. Pros: - Light though stable on the floor (I have wood floors) - effective as it kept me moving almost all of the time I was behind a computer screen (including while writing this review) Cons: - Battery for the tracking computer is not included and no information is listed in the manual for the type of battery needed (LR44) Energizer 357BP-3 Watch/electronic Batteries I got two of these mini-bikes one for me and another for my elderly parents to help them keep active during Minnesota winter :)

2/2/26 - The replacement package came complete with all assembly hardware + instructions. Resistance knob is difficult to turn and has a rather limited range. The “non-slip” feet slip easily on hardwood so I’ve ordered a rubber mat to see if that helps. For the price it’s a fine entry-level stationary bike for an octogenarian but I’m far from impressed. 1/29/26 - Product arrived without screws, tension knob, the tracking computer, or installation instructions!?!?! I have a frame and some pedals that, without fasteners or a tension knob, are useless. Hopefully the replacement comes as a complete set so grandma can get to pedaling.

Being a senior citizen, this peddler is great. Yes its a little heavy to carry but I did it. If it were light it would slip. I use this peddler while watching TV, reading. I have been trying to lose weight, and this product is just what I needed. In one week, I lost close to an inch off legs, hips and behind. I peddle once a day for 5 minutes the first week, now I am up to 8 minutes. Steady speed (I am a female). Downside, is it is not good for people who have large feet like men. They have a hard time with peddles and hitting heels on floor. I love mine!!!

This thing is terrible. There's no tension, just a weird choppy flow that makes it hard to pedal smoothly on any setting, even the lowest tension. It's like it's trying to mimic tension by making one spot in the circulation difficult to pedal, but all it does is make it feel broken because it's too jarring. It makes it a high impact exercise, so it's definitely not good for physical therapy. I cannot see this being helpful for anyone in any way.

Good tool.

I am a student who has to sit and study at home for at least 3 hours a day. I place this mini bike below my study table and bike for 90 or so mins everyday. Lost about 12 pounds in 4 months by doing that. Love this product. Good value for its price.... Only downside is that the metal pedal overheats if you bike too long

Es un buen aparato y resistente, me ha gustado mucho para hacer ejercicio cuando durante el día no se puedo y al llegar la noche al menos puedes hacer un poco.

The Impex Marcy, Deluxe Cardio Mini-Cycle was just as advertised. I would have added how quiet it is and how easy the pedals are on the hands (not too big or awkward to grasp). I only gave it a 4 star rating because there was some assembly required, but the tool came with the unit, and it was very easy to assemble. The battery does not come with the cycle, but just 2 screws to loosen and the timer unit pops out, and the button type battery was easy to install. Over all I would suggest this cycle for anyone in a wheelchair who wants to keep in shape while improving their over all cardio health, I can't comment on the leg use of this Cycle, but the base of the unit has wide supports that were easy to install, and they grip well onto any table top.

I purchased this for my mother who is almost 89 years old after I purchased one for my mother-in-law who is 85 years old. The benefit is movement to keep blood in both their legs circling. The both love it and the medical benefits are significant.
