I just received my golf gadget iPhone holder. It is terrific to record my golf swing. I have been looking for quite sometime for an easy way to video and study my swing, I downloaded an iPhone App called "Superburst" which not only records video in slow motion but more importantly has a self timer. With the self timer I have time to position myself over the ball before the video starts. It is very easy using the Golf Gadget to position my iPhone correctly to capture the video of my swing. I definitely would recommend the Golf Gadget.

Works exactly as I hoped. Solid build to it and holds firmly to devices. The only recommendation I would suggest is to include a plastic cap for the spike. I'm hesitant to put this in my bag with the fear that the spike will punch a hole in my bag. In the mean time it rides up top with the clubs which works well too. The screws and tree mount were pointless to me, went straight in the trash. I can't think of a reason why someone would buy this device for that purpose.

As simple as they describe. It is wobbly and a pain in the butt to gwt phone in and out... parts came with it that I can’t figure out what they are for. There has to be something better than this.

I needed something to mount my phone on a tripod and this works perfectly. I could use a small video camera but many phone apps for analyzing golf swings integrate the phone's camera into the process so the phone is needed.

Good idea. Stake was shorter than anticipated.Biggest problem is phone holder is to small. To use I need to take android phone out of protective case to fit & is difficult to fit phone then.I wouldn't recommend for anything but a small iPhone.

Was able to record a full round without losing pace. Slightly low angle but can still easily evaluate swing.
