Fire-Maple G2 Petrel 750ml Ultralight Camping Pot Heat Exchanger (184.5g)

Great pot for the money, not too heavy overall but, dropped and had no dent so durability so far seems to be decent. Found i could fit a 210gram oex gas can inside so for small capacity its perfect. Fit my brs 3000t along with the gas too! Used to cook noodles so far and all seems good. Gold out handle sturdy and works well to hold the pot in place nicely. Would recommend highly for the money overall. No complaints from me

Brilliant pot when paired with the triflex pot support and the soto windmaster. Boil time is ridiculously fast. Nice and lightweight 230g gas can and gas support stand fit nicely into it as well.

Brought this for a recent hike as its lighter and smaller than the normal one i take and with the heat exchanger it boils water really fast , The only negative is that there are no , measurement markings inside ie no 300ml line so its guess working if you need a accurate measurements, But that doesn't stop it being a great product .

Great piece of kit. To satisfy my curiosity I timed this pot boiling 750ml of water against several other stoves. This was the fastest, beating a Jetboil Flash, an Alpkit Brukit (jetboil copy) and the same burner (FireMaple FMS300T titanium). under a plain titanium pot. It boiled 750ml of water in 3min 50s. The Jetboil took 5min 40s and the plain titanium pot took 8 mins. A clear gold star for the FireMaple and proof that the heat exchanger really does work. The neoprene sleeve is also very useful; almost vital. Only thing I would suggest is that a titanium version is made to further decrease the weight - which is already pretty good.

Bought this to use with a Campingaz Twister 270PZ stove. I was not sure whether the heat-exchanger base would fit the stove supports, but it fits very well. The three pot supports sit neatly inside the three grooves in the base, so the pot locates positively on the stove rather than just balancing on top. It feels stable for a small solo cooking setup and is ideal for boiling water, drinks, soup or noodles. Although the listing describes it as uncoated, the inside feels smooth and easy to clean in use. I would still recommend using the stove on a flat surface, and a canister stabiliser would be sensible because the Campingaz stove/canister setup is naturally quite tall. But the pot itself fits the Twister 270PZ much better than I expected.

Been using this a while now and very pleased with it. It’s a perfect size to boil water for drinks or meals with plenty of room for two good sized drinks. Paired with a SOTO windmaster and triflex stand water boils in no time at all. The thermal fins in the base protect the cooker flame from wind and speed up the heating process. It also fits a decent size gas canister 230g. The handle flips over and locks the lid in place for travelling. Definitely recommend this pot.

Really a good bit of camping kit. Works very well, pours well and boils water for at least two home sized mugs of tea/coffee. Will take my own foldable gas stove inside and it is protected by its own net bag. Love it! Can be used on any camping gas bottle that I have.

Ich bin gespannt auf den ersten Einsatz! Der Topf macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Eine 230-g-Kartusche passt mit ein, dann allerdings der Fire-Maple-Kocher nicht mehr. In dem mitgelieferten Netz ist aber noch ausreichend Platz für das gesamte Set. Gedacht ist der Topf für den gelegentlichen Einsatz bei Familien-Wanderungen um heißes Wasser zuzubereiten. Hier kommt es weniger auf die letzten 30 Sekunden Geschwindigkeit oder ein paar Gramm Gasverbrauch an. Der Topf macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck, der Griff lässt sich gut ein- und ausklappen und der Deckel ist auch sehr praktisch. Super fast delivery by Amazon. I have wanted this pot for quite some time to cook ramen meals and pasta dishes on the trail. It mates up with my Firemaple Greenpeak stove or any stove with 3 pot stand legs. I was so eager to test out it's fast boil abilities I tried it right after I unboxed it with a full 800ml of water to brew up a pot of green tea. Boil time was roughly half the time it would take my 900ml titanium pot to boil (3:16)..... the pour spout is quite functional as I poured the finished brewed tea into a stainless bottle with no spills or drips. The handle has sufficient heat protection for your hand. The lid has a good fit and will not fall off when pouring. The heat exchanger ring and stove nesting slots make the unit stable and virtually unaffected by wind. If you want a light, super efficient cook kit, match this pot up with your high output stove like the greenpeak or pocket rocket 2.

Muy ligero y eficiente. No es titanio pero el aluminio también es muy ligero y ahorra peso, de gas, por ser muy eficiente. Su tamaño es perfecto y su empaquetado (me refiero dentro de la mochila) también. Y buen precio. Muy recomendable para excursionistas que necesitan mucho por poco. P.D: lo de los males para la salud del aluminio está por demostrar.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo anzi mi spingo oltre, massima resa minima spesa! Nulla da togliere rispetto ai brand più blasonati. Per l'utilizzo che ne faccio io, 4/5 uscite all'anno lo trovo perfetto. Consigliato!
