Well, that really comes down to an individual choice to believe if it does or does not have mystical qualities at the end of the day. However many cultures around the world do believe Jade and other gemstones do have mystical qualities to them. There are many books out there explaining gemstones mystical properties. Or you can just look online. I got this for a person as a thank you for helping me out. I said put this in your home or work space and may it keep your space safe from negative energy. The choice really comes down to you. I have loads of crystal around my home as I think they look great & having them makes me feel good. What is hollow carving?

It means there are gaps in the Jade & it’s not a complete piece of Jade. The amulet itself is not hollow. Jade is one of nature toughest stone to break.
