Higonokami Folding Knife – SK Steel 55mm with bell

Great quality steel from Japan, higonokami does not disappoint.

Great knife. Unfortunately, the braided cord it come attached to came loose and I lost the knife. I highly recommend that when you buy this, you immediately replace the cord with something strong like a metal spin lock style ring.

its soo cute and tiny! with the little bell, i just loved it. the steel knife folds out with some extra friction, you can tell its not the best quality but for the price it seems fair. the blade wasnt too sharp, but perfectly sharp enough for cutting a tag off something, opening a package, etc. unfortunately the real issue is in the material of the cord. the way its braided you would think its somewhat tough, or reinforced, but ultimately its very soft weak thread. with minimal use it broke in less than a year. if your intention is to have it attached to a daily use item like your bag, wallet, keys, it wont last for more than maybe a few months. if youre buying this, I just recommend replacing the string if you plan on attaching it to something :)
