Good to have in book form but most of it’s on her website.
Pretty much of this book is on her website for free.

Terrible book...if you want good books about real Hoodoo practices, go to the source, black people.

Good resource tool. Full of lots of great information. Nice little book to have on hand. It’s a perfect addition to any Magic library.

As someone who was not raised with these traditions, I find it overwhelming trying to find my way through the plethora of info available today. And as someone who does not really like to read hundreds of pages at a time, I absolutely LOVE this book. It cuts to the chase, gives you what you need to know right now, and lets you educate yourself more as you are able. I have books on my shelf that I've never read. I know for a fact that this book won't even make it to my bookshelf! It will always be within arm's reach. I also purchased Paper In My Shoe, and feel the same about that book as well.

Thought I knew a lot about candles and candle magick, but this has really helped me figure out a lot more about candle workings. And yes the book is kinda small, but that's all you really need is all the info she provides. She also gives you other books to read as guidance and more info on some parts.
