My first time using a scrunchie and I'm forever sold! This scrunchie is made of good quality. I love the texture. Whenever I take it off, it doesn't break or pull my hair like regular ties do. I was experiencing a lot of hair breakage. I follow a hairstylist from Colombia on Instagram and she recommends using hair scrunchies to our daily use to avoid and prevent hair breakage. I was skeptical about this but decided to give it a try. Well, it really works! I got my order on March 13th, and since then, I haven't experienced any breakage like I used to; any breakage at all! It's truly impressive. No more hair ties for me! I'm glad I found something that protects my hair, especially during the night. I literally wear it 24/7 because I don't want to risk my hair breaking again. This is a total must have for me! I recommend it 100%.

I have purchased these several times and love them! I especially like surprise variety pack, it’s a lot of fun! They are comfortable to sleep in and I love giving them out as gifts. They are high-quality and beautiful. Lilysilk is one of my favorite brands.

Quality is excellent. I do wish it was slightly larger, but it still does a good job holding my long, thick hair.

I have very thick, long hair. Something happened in my 50s after I started chemo, and my normally thick hair got even thicker and is now almost waist length. My entire life it wouldn’t grow past my shoulders yet now that I’m a little old lady I have thick, luscious, long hair. Weird. Anyway, I learned that with long hair you have to put it in a ponytail at night, or when you eat, and especially when you hold your grandchild. Most hair ties ruin expensive blowouts by leaving dents. Even if they say they won’t, they will. But this silk ponytail holder by LilySilk really doesn’t leave marks. I’ve been sleeping in it for a week now and my hair is smooth every day. And it holds very thick hair; although it’s a little tight, it’s not painful. I could certainly go running without worrying about it coming out. They are even kind of cute .. for scrunchies. Oh, and when I take them off, they don’t pull out hairs like the coil or regular ones do either. After a lifetime of wishing for long hair and now having it, I feel it’s ok to spend a bit more to pamper it. Everything I’ve read says silk is the best thing for hair, and while satin may also be fine, I’m sticking with silk. As a silk scarf collector, I can say it feels like silk, and other reviewers have tested it, so I’m confident I got what I paid for. I’m about to buy another so I can wash one and have another ready, but I suspect I’ll eventually have most all the colors, I like the product that much.

Although I have other silk scrunchies, you can definitely feel the difference with the Lilysilk. The silk is thicker and better quality and the elastic band is better (thicker and stronger but gentle in your hair). I have fine hair but moderate density and this works well. I have purchased 2 more plus one as a gift.

It's real silk, but kind of rough like polyester. I should have just stuck with the thx ones. I got a beautiful one close to my hair color, but I work in a factory as a machine operator and got ink on it. I forgot I had it on my wrist when I was cleaning the print die. I figured, this one is ruined so since I look like a little dirt monster at work anyway, this will be my work scrunchie and I'll get a nice clean one for when I rejoin civilization on the weekends. I was so excited for this. I was looking for a copper one to match my hair but couldn't find one, but green goes so well with red hair and this brand had the loveliest shade of green. I expected it to be just as soft as the other but it's not. Don't know if I'll return or not. I just don't understand why real silk would be this rough. It must be the weave they used.

SO cute! Wonderful packaging made it feel like opening a present for myself. This is smaller than I expected in diameter, but I still would have purchased knowing that.

I loved the feeling of the silky scrunchie, but unfortunately it's not at all durable as it broke in a very short time than any scrunchie should last.

Got the 15 assorted pack. Received a pretty good assortment. They felt and looked very nice, and the elastic inside was the flat type. A note on packaging though. Amazon sent my order without a bubble mailer or box. It was the Lilysilk packaging (cardstock+standard clear plastic bag with sticky tab) and a badly placed amazon label. Packaging will likely not withstand rain or snow.

I've bought these scrunchies in the past and the material was beautiful and soft, and it was obvious that this was high grade mulberry silk. I received an order of two scrunchies yesterday and the material is clearly not the same. It is of a much poorer quality. It feels scratchy to the touch, and feels completely different from the lily silk scrunchies that I have bought in the past. It's very disappointing when I compared the previous product to the scrunchies that I received this week.
