These LED strip lights were exactly what I was looking for. I used them to add accent lighting to a custom desk nook I built, and they completely transformed the space. The warm white light is bright enough to create a cozy atmosphere without being harsh but I can change to daylight if I wanted/needed, and the LEDs are evenly spaced so you don’t get distracting dark spots.The adhesive has held well, and I was able to hide the wiring behind my wood accent wall for a clean, professional-looking installation. The lights make give the whole space a high-end built-in feel without any electrical work (something I can’t do).If you’re looking for affordable under-cabinet or accent lighting for a DIY project, I would definitely recommend these. They’ve been a great finishing touch to my office/reading nook.

As like many other comments, "beautiful and easy to install." Here's what I can add.Making your own LED light strip is actually easy as long as you know how to solder. Just cut to length your roll of lights only through the middle of a column of contacts, attach LED driver to strip, attach strip to location, and attach driver to power source (plug-able method is the safest). These light strips by DayBetter are even easier as the strip is already divided into six segments roughly 1ft 7-8in long that comes ready to plug into each other for a maximum length of 9.8ft. The only downside is you give up on other conveniences; the controller/driver comes already attached to the 1st segment with roughly about 4in of cable, and the power cord is roughly 2ft 10in only. So you need a convenient outlet close by (or use an extension cord). On the plus side, the plug/power-adapter is small and compact and looks pretty good on the wall outlet.Things not explained:▪︎ The picture of the box contents (as of September 2025) is complete, but not descriptive. The 6 Light strip segments are depicted bottom left. The white srips on top right are connection extensions for between the lighted segments. Five 6in extensions, and three 3in U connectors (the plugs both face on one side). These connectors are foldable (flat) copper wires (but try not to bend and unbend too many times).▪︎ The LED strip segments can be cut to shorter lengths, but ONLY where the column of contact pads are. They look like a stack of copper bars.I recommend getting strip light channels to house these lights. The LED light strips are essentially bare circuit boards, which means there are potential exposed points that can be shorted. I have sweaty hands, and even with the lights off, I can put my finger between two lights or circuit chips, and two or more lights near my finger will weakly light up. There a several other reasons to use light channels, but I'm not going to elaborate on them here.Issues:▪︎ The controller cord and power cord is rather too short.▪︎ No known official way to order more controllers & power adapters to use with unused light strip segments.▪︎ The unpairing and pairing does not really do anything. After unpairing, the lights only dimmed and brightened (not blink as it should), and afterwards I can still control the lights with the remote. In fact, I've tried the remote on another set of lights that I have not done the unpair/pair routine (and was still controlled by its own remote) and I was able to control the other lights straight off the bat.Last note:▪︎ The recieving female plugs on the connection extensions are out-of-the-factory new, and may not be easy to connect with its counterpart. Before making the initial plug-in, turn the two plugs 90° to each other so that you can push a single pin into each of the recieving hole one at a time (being careful to not poke yourself) to break in the plug.All and all, I'm very satisfied with this LED strip light. I, in fact, have more than one of them.

These lights are absolutely perfect for what I needed.I inherited a beautiful basement apartment when I bought this house that I live in, but the basement is a little dark and creepy and was seriously lacking any lighting or warmth.The kitchen was my biggest challenge, very dark cabinets, and only high hats on the ceiling, very glaring and harsh when on.I put these lights underneath my cabinets and they transformed my kitchen.I love the flexibility of being able to change the tone of the light as well as the brightness. I can keep them on bright in the daytime when I’m using my kitchen and on low as night lighting when I go to bed. My kitchen is directly next to my bedroom down here andI prefer to sleep in my basement now because it feels so comfortable and I’ve made it into my extra safe space. I would rather sleep down here now than in my beautiful master bedroom upstairs. I would not be doing this without that night lighting in my dark kitchen.It’s also great that it’s all controlled with a remote control so I can even adjust the lighting while I’m in bed.They were so easy to put up, self adhesive so it only took a matter of minutes and I was done.I’ve only been using them for a couple of weeks, but as long as they hold up for a while, I will have nothing negative to say about them and would highly recommend them.

Great price however don’t expect too much. The product and concept is great this was purchased as a replacement for a failing led system. It worked great for about 8 months after that it started to blink and now it’s just a dim night light. Also don’t expect any assistance from company as I have contacted them and have waited over a week without any response. What can you expect for 10 bucks? Will look into something better for this replacement. Update 12/26/25 After having tried to contact the seller through their website without any success my only recourse was to leave a poor review. Once the review was up the seller contacted me and refunded my purchase price. That was wonderful and they suggested I give their product a second chance. Since I needed to replace the led lights I went ahead and ordered another set from them. Again I love the set up and the way you can customize the fit however the ew set of lights worked for about an hour. When I went to turn the on on half of the lights worked. I tried and made sure all the connections worked and verified however what is interesting tis time is that the beginning of the strip went dead and the second part worked great. Total frustrations with these lights. Also be aware if you try to return throughAmazon you need to pay for return shipping and waste more time going to post office as they will only give 4 $ in shipping credits. Finally when you try to go to manufacturer website and try to message them IT DOES NOT WORK. Only way to get company attention is through a bad review. I am not one to post negative reviews but this product has been frustrating on so many levels. Stay away from these lights as they have only gotten worse in the last year. Again I wish they worked because lots of positive ideas in product BUT execution is POOR on every level. Again you get what you pay for. Fool me once shame on you ; fool my twice shame on me.

Easy to install and brightens my kitchen! The color is great. The remote works good and has a great battery life. It is very adjustable.
