Works fine. Not 100% sure how long it lasts compared to the capacity listed, but it works as well as the original battery on my VX-8DR. I have been through 3 batteries with this radio since I bought it and they all worked fine. The 2200mAh capacity is great compared to the 1800mAh units. Fit is just like all others and with a waterproof radio it should seal up fine with the gasket on the radio. The price is right for what you get. I recommend it if it matches your original.

Works great!!! A little thicker than the super think OEM that came with radio but Dutch. Its more capacity. Still feel slim and great in hand. Its an older radio so I'm glad somebody still making batteries for it! I use it for race days and like events. Battery lasted all day with casual transmitting out. Battery charges with oem radio DC in and external charging stand.
