These are just the best pens

I first bought one of these as a Mother's Day gift, way back in the 70s. I bought one replacement for mum due to wear and tear, and she was still using the 2nd one right up until she died 18 months ago! So, on average they each lasted roughly 25 years each (she used them every day!) So when I was looking for a new pen, I got myself 3 of these in different colours with red, blue & black inks. I love them as much as Mum did and I feel like I’m carrying on a family tradition.

I'm a big fan on Parker Jotter pens, especially the plastic barrel ones, so I am very happy to have one in this fun orange colour. I had previously purchased the "90s" gift set which included Yellow, Cyan, Magenta and Green, and this colour is from the same collection, so it is a nice addition to the set. For those that are curious, it is made in France and has plastic threads. It is the exact same as any other entry level plastic barrel Jotter you buy today. Yes, the quality has dropped compared to even 10 years ago, but they are still great pens that are wonderful to use, especially compared to any cheap plastic pen. They are priced just right so that they are affordable, but just expensive enough that you care about it enough not to lose it. I use there pens every day for work and I have never had an issue. I'm hoping that they will continue to produce new collections of fun colours.

Klassischer Parker Kugelschreiber, der gut in der Hand liegt. Er ist leicht und die Farbe ist auch anziehend. Ich habe den gleichen Kugelschreiber in Orange, in Rot und in Türkis gekauft und habe große Freude damit.

Ho preso la versione arancione per averla sempre ben visibile sulla scrivania e non perderla in mezzo alle carte. Non c'è molto da dire, è una Parker Jotter: una garanzia. Il meccanismo a scatto è solido e preciso (con quel "click" netto che non si inceppa mai), e la scrittura è fluida fin dal primo tratto, senza sbavature o interruzioni dell'inchiostro. È leggera, comoda da impugnare anche per scrivere a lungo e, visto il prezzo, è un ottimo strumento da battaglia che non ti tradisce. Molto meglio delle penne usa e getta da due soldi che durano poco ma fornisce quel tocco elegante e curato senza essere troppo impegnativa.
