This review is for the Boblov W5 pocket camera. This camera is sturdily built compact pocket sized camera capable of filming in 5K resolution, 4K at 60fps, 4K at 30fps, 2.7K at 30fps, 1080P at 60 or 30fps and 720K at 120, 60 or 30fps. It also takes photos at 16, 13 & 8 Megapixel and saves in JPG format. It has electronic stabilisation at 4K 30 frames per minute downwards but no EIS at higher resolutions. 5K is very good if you use a tripod or if you are filming a scene standing still. The camera has 2 microphones. One built into the camera and one which you plug into the side of the camera for better audio when blogging etc. The camera head is manually rotatable so you can have the image sensor facing outward to film general scenes or can be turned to face the person holding the camera so you can see yourself in the screen. In this it makes an excellent vlogging camera. Do not expect the quality of the best Go Pro or DJI Osmo and the stabilisation is obviously not up to that standard but then again, its nowhere near the price you would pay for that type of camera is it! For the price you pay, its an excellent camera for vlogging or general video of family outings etc. The battery lasts just under 2 hours of continuous recording before a recharge which takes about 2 or 3 hours from flat or less if there is some charge left in the camera. It comes with a fixing strap, a clip to clip to your clothing etc and it has a standard screw fitting for a tripod. I have seen a few reviews that complain that the external plug in microphone does not work and a few saying there is no image stabilisation but you can ignore those as those reviewers have clearly not bothered to read the owners manual. If they had done so, they would have seen that there is a menu item which you set to switch between the internal & external mi and another menu item to switch on the image stabilising! (Subject to my earlier comments on image resolution). The content is easily transferred to a computer or phone using the supplied lead and you can also take out the memory card and put it in the supplied card reader. For the price, this camera is extremely good value at less than 60 pounds. It is not waterproof and has no night vision infra red but it works well as a security camera in the daytime or anywhere with normal indoor lighting plus the image is far more stable than most body warn cameras. Want to start making Youtube videos on a budget, this is the camera to get. Very versatile. I visited someone today who lives in sheltered accommodation and made video on the way filmed at 4K 30fps with stabilisation on and show you a small clip of this longer walk. My hands do shake quite a bit and the EIS seemed to smooth this out and my walking pretty good I think. Finally, I did not do this review as part of a promotion like some reviews are done, I bought this handy pocket camera with my own money.

It really is rather small and relatively light weight. A little to heavy for shirt pocket or neck of a t-shirt. The front side clip is shorter and therefore a bit stiffer, which can make it tricky to get onto a textile. The video is bouncy because there is no image stabilization, but that's fine for my use. The video and audio quality is good. The battery holds its charge good for weeks, so far that I can tell. Getting the video onto my PC is just copying files from a file folder...easy.

I like the fact that it is small and discreet.
