Ok I am having such a huge problem getting the lids off...if I do not get something to fix this issue I will need to return them!

We have found that sometimes the lids need to be "worked in" and take a little time to loosen up. Would you like to try a for a while and see how it works for you? If not you can always return to Amazon. Thanks for your business. We do appreciate it.

Does this rack accommodate different jar sizes?

Not really. The rack is perfect for the quart size jars only.

can you sprout beans with this?

yes, they give 3 lids with various hole sizes. With larger sprouting seeds and beans you would just start with the lid with the larger holes.
