Do the dogs look like blobs or do they have more distinct shape than the photo is showing?

They look like dogs, but I had to send it back because you had to shake it to see the snow twirl around.

What kind of dogs are they?

I have ordered may of the Cool Snow globes and they are beautiful and the best snow globes I have found. I gave this globe as a gift to people with labs because I thought that’s the breed the dogs looked like.

Does this play any music?

No, It doesn't play music. it is just a beautiful snow globe.
