Having finished the biggest UK live outdoor event of 2004, and playing to over half a million people across the country, the Red Hot Chili Peppers release Live in Hyde Park . This by-popular-demand double CD is made up from the best takes from the three shows they played in Hyde Park, London in June, and alongside all the old favourites such as "Under the Bridge" and "Californication", it also includes three brand-new tracks: "Rolling Sly Stone", "Leverage of Space" and covers from Donna Summer, Looking Glass and 45 Grave. Review: A must have. - If you have all the studio albums you need this in your life. The John Frusciante solos are mesmerizing, especially the dark and edgy sound of 'Don't forget me', the awesome intro in to 'Can't Stop' and the brilliant jam at the end of 'By the Way'. Review: How live music should be - RHCP live, and in particular Flea and John Frusciante jamming together, is as good as music gets. I just wish they'd released more official live stuff with the same lineup.

Fantastic album. The only minor complaint is that they cut off scar tissue!

Umfang: 26 Tracks, 25 Songs (u.a. aus den Alben "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", "Californication", "By The Way"), 2 Stunden und 3 Minuten Spielzeit.
