will this fit a scotty cameron california del mar putter?

Yep, no problem at all. It will also fit up to a full half mallet putter like a Rossie. Hope this helps.

So is this really leather? One reviewer suggested that it isn't.

It is faux leather not real leather like the Scotty Cameron putters

I have a Wilson mallet putter that is 2" or so wide. Will this be too big for this putter?

It sounds like it would be. I bought this cover for a "Wilson Staff Men's VIZOR LEVEL 2 #3 Mallet Golf Putter, 35-Inch, Uniflex, Right Hand, Steel" and it fit nicely. Search Amazon for this putter to get an idea of which putter it will fit. It sounds to me like you have more of a blade-type putter. BTW, the quality of this cover was very good.

Will this fit a Nike ignite 003 putter

Yes easily, It will fit a big headed mallet and the Nike is more midsized. Just snug up the Velcro a bit. Hope this helps.
