Perfect fit easy install

I've had problems with rotors warping the last couple of years. So I decided to try drilled and slotted. I've had them on for about a week now. Smooth braking. And no noise. Hopefully they will last longer than my Duralast rotors. I was only getting about 6 months before they started warping. I'll come back and change my review if these don't hold up.

Replaced front brakes/rotors on 2014 Silverado, 1500. New brakes/rotors looked great and were received well packaged. Installed with no issues!

OK, I had to redo the brakes twice as the first time, i had used the wrong metal brackets. The 2 front only needed 4 total, but I got 8. Upon closer inspection, there is a slight difference of about 1mm. So yes, I learned the hard way and had to redo both front brakes the 2nd time. But as I had to redo, I made sure everything was well lubed and properly torqued using torque wrench. Basically, I spent more than twice time to make sure these are done right. Afterwards, I took some high speed (40-60mph) and hit the brakes on several runs in order to seat them properly. Well, it's been about a week now, and unfortunately, it still has a slight rubbing sound in low speed, which didn't have any sounds period with the old brakes. And every once in awhile, it seemed the pads just wants to grab on to the rotor an extra second, so it's just as smooth. Perhaps it's the fact these rotors are drilled and slotted? Again, this is on a 2015 CRV, so it's not to show off or anything, but I only bought these over the regular ones for the fun of it as i think the price was only about $15 more? Well, if I have to, I guess I can redo the brake for the 3rd time, but in my years working on cars, never had I have this many issues with the Honda brakes (90% of my cars and trucks have always been Toyota or Lexus).

Best aftermarket brake kit I’ve installed in my truck yet. Truck has 300k miles on it. Brake kit had everything needed and fit no issues. Works great

I have a little mechanic shop and I sure wish they would have these at my local warehouse so I can get them the same day or next day I would buy 10 times as much👍🏼

Bought for my 1999 Subaru Forester, I frequently drive up and down the mountains and sometimes need to brake heavy. These are quiet, don’t warp and have great stopping power. For $100 out the door, it’s a great deal. I could’ve spent the extra $40 at O’reileys with my commercial account and gotten a free warranty every year for 3 years but they don’t have slotted rotors. If you have doubts, just buy them no worries about fitment, rust, mistaken size or the durability of them. They’re solid quality.

I purchased this kit 3 years ago for 2017 Escalade ESV. This vehicle is used as a black car service/Limo. After three years and 53,000 miles, I decided it was time to check front brakes. There was about 1mm of pad left. Pads on both sides of rotors were worn perfectly even on both sides of the car this car is driven primarily in the city. Constant stop and go traffic heavy breaking highway driving to and from airport I can’t believe how well these brakes and rotors performed and with virtually no noise or vibration from warping whatsoever. I have purchased several products from Detroit axel in the past and repurchased this new set of pads and rotors because you can’t beat the price and performance of their products. Keep up the good work.
