Love the Harry Potter twist on this game
We hadn't played Monopoly Deal before, so it did take us a little bit to get our heads around this one, but it's a great card game. The Harry Potter angle is lots of fun, casting spells on each other to steal or discard items. The character cards add a bit of interest to the game, however every family tends to pick the same one every time so it's actually more fun if they are shuffled in the deck to use like any other card (which is an alternate we play sometimes). I would say the 8+ rating is accurate as there are a few too many rules for younger players.

Awesome card game for monopoly and Harry potter lovers
Awesome family game. Can be played for game night. A good way to keep away everyone from screen and bond. Harry potter dans especially will love and enjoy it

Monopoly Deal made even better with Harry Potter magic
Monopoly Deal is one of my favorite card games, and this Harry Potter version makes it even more fun. It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and small enough to take anywhere. We love bringing it along for casual outings like beer tasting, picnics with the kids, or pulling it out on a rainy day when we want something entertaining but not complicated. The Harry Potter theme really amps it up. The character cards with special abilities introduce a new layer of strategy, and the spell cards serve as a fun novelty that keeps each game feeling unique. I really enjoy this version and can see us playing it over and over again. I would recommend trying the original Monopoly Deal first so you understand the basic gameplay, then the Harry Potter version feels like a fun upgrade that you can truly appreciate.

Nice twist on a family favorite game
Purchased a couple of these for gifts. Was concerned with the size and quality of them due to the low price. When they came in we were impressed. Normal size and no quality issues. Of course our Harry Potter fans loved their gifts.

Must buy for Harry Potter and Monopoly Deals fan
This is as good as the original. Adaptation is thoughtful, but at some places the rule description is ambiguous. That leaves it open for house rules . There are new game mechanics added. The properties are now items, actions are spells. And charcter with special abilities to choose from. It's fun to yell out spell when playing the action card. And yes I am 35+ years old. A must buy for Harry Potter fan.
