Classic, Reliable, and Makes Amazing Stovetop Coffee
I have switched from a Nespresso to a classic stove-top alternative! Even though my Nespresso is a faster alternative, I genuinely enjoy this little pot for a slow morning! Pros: -Brews rich, strong espresso-style coffee at home -Classic moka pot design feels authentic and timeless -Easy to use once you get the hang of it -Works great on gas and electric stovetops -Compact size, doesn’t take up much space -Much more affordable than an espresso machine -Perfect for Cuban and Italian-style coffee Cons: -Takes a few tries to dial in the grind and heat level -Handle can get warm if left too close to the burner -Not ideal if you want large amounts of coffee at once -Needs hand washing (no dishwasher) Overall: Primula Classic Stovetop Espresso and Coffee Maker is a fantastic option if you love bold, traditional stovetop coffee. It’s simple, affordable, and delivers that strong café-style flavor without the cost or clutter of a machine. A must-have for moka pot lovers.

Should have bought a bigger one.
Very easy to use product something that I was studying online to make sure everything was OK. Awesome loved it. The only issue I had was the size, I should have bought a bigger size, if you’re using this to make coffee and not just espresso The size may be too small. The quality and the taste of the coffee were amazing, the aluminum didn’t interfere in the taste of the coffee at all. Very easy to clean, but should be cleaned quite quickly because it is coffee. It stains everything unless you clean it quickly. I learned this trick that if you put 100° water in it as you prepare everything else, that speeds up the brew time quite significantly.

Works fine, solid build
Purchased this at under the $20.00 price point. That said within that framework, it is a great deal. I have seen the exact same unit selling for 3X that so I don't know what the story is. It makes about 1.5 NORMAL coffe cups if you want to use it for regular daily brewing. This type of "machine" brings out the full flavor of any fine grind coffee, even cheaper ones. Two scoops of grind, water to the bottom of the threads, (yes you can cover the valve, it won't explode!), and you get a great cup of coffee, plus a warmer.

Makes good coffee, unfortunate spout design
For background, I used a Bialetti Moka Express for many years but it started giving me more and more trouble, I was always replacing parts, it made coffee inconsistently despite me trying all kinds of tricks. Eventually I gave up and made coffee other ways. Then a few months ago I was visiting a friend who was using a no-name moka pot which seemed to work great for him, and it reminded me how much I loved this style of coffee. So I decided to try this one. I've been using this Primula model pretty much daily for about 3 months now. It makes good coffee every time. The six-cup model is perfect for one cup of very strong coffee, which is what I drink. There are a couple design divergences from Bialetti, presumably for copyright reasons. Some are inconsequential, like it being ten-sided instead of eight. However, the Primula spout design is a pain. The spout has a little lip on it that forces you to pour the coffee very slowly; otherwise it runs down the side of the pot and spills everywhere. This is a small but consistent annoyance, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. If unlike me you can pour patiently it won't be an issue for you.

Love the Moka Pot
I love this small wonder. I bought the 6 cup. It makes an average cup of coffee. I finally perfected the best espresso with a smooth taste—non bitter. The Moka Pot works nicely and easy to use on a glass top stove.

A new coffee pot
My coffee pot broke and I went onto Amazon and saw this. Without realizing what I was buying, I had it. Then figuring it out was a puzzle for me as I have never used anything like this. Day one I reached for the handle after it started steaming, and dropped it on the floor as I burned my hand. Day two I now had a mitt to take the pot to the table, and I stepped on the carpet when it started to bubble and dropped it and coffee went all over the carpet. Day three. I'm much smarter now. Of course I have blisters and my carpet needs cleaning but I was determined. I let it go through everything, and when it started steaming I turned the heat off. And after about five minutes I retrieved the pot and I have never had such good coffee as this. It should come with these instructions. But I am not sorry about the spills because I love the coffee and can't imagine drinking it any other way. This is a large one cup, but after drinking this amazing coffee, and I make it strong, one cup is all I need. Highly recommend this little pot.

Goodbye microplastic cups & filters!
Goodbye microplastics, hello delicious coffee! In an effort to find a healthier, quick, easy to clean, and more economical way to make our morning Joe we purchased this classic pot. It’s super easy to use, and helps us to slow down and be more mindful in the morning. Yes it’s an “espresso” pot, but it’s perfect for coffee as well. Be your own barista and purchase this, you won’t be disappointed.

Rubbish
Terrible coffee maker. Filter size inappropriate and allows the coffee powder to contaminate the decoction.

Professional Results and Authentic Style | Master the Extraction
This Moka pot is outstanding. The coffee flows smoothly without any issues, creating a rich and dense crema that rivals a professional setup. I’ve noticed several reviews complaining about the plastic handle melting, but I must emphasize: this is a Moka, not a defect! If the handle burns, it’s because the gas flame is too high. To get the best results, you must use a small flame for a slow, steady extraction; otherwise, you risk scorching both the handle and the coffee itself. For those looking to elevate their brew, here are two professional tips: 1. Pre-heat the water: To avoid "toasting" the coffee grounds while the pot heats up on the stove, fill the base with already hot water. 2. The Valve Rule: Never fill the water above the safety valve. It’s a crucial safety feature and affects the internal pressure. The craftsmanship is in perfect Italian style, offering excellent value for money. One final golden rule for longevity: NEVER wash it with soap or in the dishwasher. Simply rinse with hot water and wipe with a cloth to maintain the seasoning of the aluminum. Pros: • Extraction: Smooth flow and great crema. • Design: Iconic and functional Italian aesthetic. • Value: High-quality materials for the price point.

Great value for the price
This Moka pot is a great pick if you're into espresso-style coffee but don’t want to shell out for a fancy machine. It’s super easy to use—just add water and ground coffee, pop it on the stove, and you’re good to go. The coffee it makes is strong, rich, and full of flavour—perfect for fans of Cuban-style brews. It feels pretty sturdy for the price, and it’s easy to clean too. Just note: the “cup” sizes are espresso cups, not regular mugs, so a 6-cup version will really only make about 2 small cups of strong coffee. Also, be careful with the plastic handle—it can melt if it gets too close to high heat. All in all, if you don’t mind the smaller serving size, this is an awesome, affordable way to level up your coffee game.
