It's short but impactful
Why I Am an Atheist by Bhagat Singh ⭐ 5/5 This book is not just an essay — it’s a statement of courage. Why I Am an Atheist shows a completely different side of Bhagat Singh — not just as a revolutionary, but as a thinker. What impressed me the most is the clarity in his words. There is no arrogance, no blind rebellion — only logic, conviction, and self-awareness. He doesn’t reject faith for attention or ego. In fact, he directly addresses the idea that critics often call disbelief “vanity.” His reasoning is calm, structured, and deeply intellectual. For someone so young to write with such maturity and fearlessness is remarkable. What stood out to me is how well-read and thoughtful he was. He believed in studying, questioning, and strengthening his ideas rather than blindly accepting anything — even religion. That level of confidence in one’s reasoning is powerful. This book made me reflect on belief, doubt, and the courage it takes to stand by your convictions, especially when the world labels you for it. It’s short, but impactful. A must-read if you want to understand the mind behind the revolutionary — not just the legend.
