The best garden seats- lightweight, comfortable and hard wearing

This is a pretty good chair: it is comfortable, well-made and folds up into a compact space. The only downside is that the small levers underneath the armrests that are meant to lock the chair into its current position aren't completely effective. They stiffen the movement of the chair quite a bit; but they don't lock it solid. That's why I've only given it four stars - it would have been five otherwise. I contacted Lafuma, the manufacturers and asked them about this but they didn't reply, which suggests poor customer service on their part. I also contacted the seller who offered to provide a refund - but, as it's otherwise pretty good, I decided to keep it, so it obviously isn't a great problem. Overall, it would probably be hard to find a better chair.

This is a really comfortable chair. The balance is perfect. I bought it one year ago and it is stored indoors. Two problems. First fairly minor but the toggle things, that are supposed to lock it at a fixed recline angle, don't do a good job. As other reviewers have said, they slow it down but don't lock it. Biggest issue is the rust on the bars that sit on the ground. There are two small plastic buffers to protect the bars but they are totally inadequate. I wrote to the supplier about a better protection for the metal bars to keep them off the ground but they displayed no understanding and offered to sell me unrelated spare parts. So, given the price I paid, It's worth about three stars.

Excellent product but beware the additional vat and customs charges which are significant

These Lafuma chairs are exactly what I expected, smart and comfortable. A range of positions available to suit your mood/activity. The zero gravity position is extremely comfortable and sleep inducing! Buy the cup holders to attach to the chair and with a drink to hand what more could you want on a sunny day?

The product is fine BUT the advertised cost is grossly misleading as I had to pay over £115 in addition for import duty. I consider this to be sharp practice !!

For the price of the chairs, I would have expected the locking mechanism to at least keep the chair in position, which it does not. Very disappointing

Ottima sdraio, elegante e comoda, la consiglio

La comodità unita ad una costruzione robusta fanno di questa poltrona un oggetto unico nel suo genere. Non sapevo il significato di “zero gravity”, poi dopo averla usata ho capito: in pratica si assumono infinite inclinazioni senza sforzo perché il peso del corpo si scarica nel baricentro della sedia, consentendo con piccolissimi spostamenti degli arti di raggiungere la posizione voluta di gambe e schiena. Comodissima e fa scaricare le gambe, ideale dopo lunghi periodi in piedi. La costruzione è molto curata ed usa materiali di prima qualità, anni luce da prodotti più economici

Une bonne surprise dès l'ouverture du colis. Le fauteuil est livré monté, d'où gain de temps et absence de complication. Semble vraiment solide et fait pour durer. Facile à utiliser et bon confort. Bravo !

Ancora non ho fatto bene l'abitudine nell'apertura perché è voluminosa ma l'ho ricevuta da poco e credo che imparerò. Quello che più conta è che è robustissima e talmente comoda per schiena e gambe da starci sopra in relax totale. La meccanica è ingegnata bene e la tela è così traspirante che esposta al sole lascia passare l'aria. Aperta in casa, con temperatura più bassa, aggiungo un leggero pail prima di sdraiarmici altrimenti ho freddo. L'altezza massima cui si possono portare le gambe porta un sollievo totale per la stanchezza e circolazione. Veramente un gran prodotto. Complimenti a LaFuma Mobilier, peccato che non sia Italiana, ma è corretto riconoscere la validità del prodotto. Vivamente consigliato.
