DB-DBW2 Video DOORBELL

I recently installed the Night Owl doorbell camera, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night, thanks to the excellent night vision feature. The two-way audio allows me to communicate easily with visitors, which adds an extra layer of convenience. Setting up the camera was straightforward, and the app is user-friendly, providing real-time alerts and easy access to recorded footage. I appreciate the wide field of view, which captures everything happening at my front door. Overall, the Night Owl doorbell camera offers great value with its reliable features and solid performance. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can monitor my home easily. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased this doorbell to replace my old one, and overall, I'm impressed with the quality. The product itself is sturdy, looks great, and the picture quality is excellent. The installation process was smooth, and it felt like a nice upgrade from my previous doorbell. The only downside is that it’s not compatible with the Night Owl Connect app

I have had this for several months now and I am ready to throw this camera in the trash! Poor sound quality!!! Watch the video and you can decide for yourself. The camera has failed many times to capture a car coming into driveway and did not get notification until a person was halfway up walkway. Many times I will get a notification that someone is at my house but no person/car is there.?

I used to have a Ring doorbell, but I was unhappy about the lack of local storage and having to pay for access to my own videos. Night Owl offered a good price and the features I wanted. I've been using it for months and it's perfect. I get notifications when someone approaches the door, access to all my videos all the time, for no additional cost. It even works with my existing door chime. I'm very happy with this product.

The equipment itself seems to be operating as intended. Decent picture, alerts you win triggered. Two-way communication is not the best and definitely needs improvement. Giving it two stars though because of night owls customer support. It's terrible. I had an issue with the way this tied into my existing doorbell system, no issue of the doorbell itself. Contact night owl several times, customer service, pre-sales and warranty department. They have Representatives that don't seem to know the products and don't focus on the issue at hand. If you call in don't expect for anyone to answer. Best you can do is put in a call back and wait 30 to 60 minutes to talk to someone. Went ahead and submitted this review even though the original problem still exists. I have had other instances in the past and communicated with night owl on other products and I've never been wowed by their customer service. Again, satisfied with product so far but support side needs massive Improvement.

i bought this because we have the night owl cameras and it integrates perfect. works like a charm on the app

I could not get this to work. i hooked up to an existing doorbell chime and it set it off and would not stop.

I like this camera because I can use 3rd party software such as iSpy to record locally without a subscription. I did not give it 5 stars because the recording scheduler from the Nightowl Protect android app doesn't work. Hopefully, their software/firmware updates will fix this problem. Otherwise good camera with good options and video.

Works great with the night owl system, wired to 12v from door bell. Chime does not work, can’t order the night owl remote chime in Canada. Order remote chime at same time. Had trouble getting connections to night owl, be persistent!
