DAS180Z 18V Li-ion LXT Brushless Dust Blower – Batteries and Charger Not Included

I feel like Tim the Toolman, "More Power!" I discovered the need in my life to get a battery powered blower for quick small jobs on the patio, car detailing, hot tub cover and I'm sure ill find more uses... So just like you I amazoned searched my way through price ranges and reviews only to be disappointed with the quality of some of the products in the $50 range. So I upped the filter to 4 star and $100.... and again, almost settled for a $90 special... only to read poor battery life... So my brain went straight to my small collection of Makira power tools and the 18v batteries that really only see a few minutes a month of use... so I searched on a 18v Makita blower... and have not been disappointed. If your new to Makita, and it appears some have been caught out on the reviews.. yup Batteries Are Not Included. But that's the beauty of a tool range like this. Your Batteries fit 100s of tools and IF they die you just rebuy a battery and not dump your entire sealed investment. Firstly I was amazed at how light this Makita blower was, even with the battery installed its very lightweight compared to the power. Accessories in the box includes a rather nice Makita branded bag which is over sized for the blower, battery and nozzles. Very useful, but ill add a spring toggle to the string for perfection. The nozzles are interesting, comical even... theres a tiny hole for precision, wide angle flat, sides only.. (imagination boggles at that one) 2 larger cones. Each nozzle fits easily and snuggly, then you pull back the shroud and quick release the nozzle with ease. As with most Makita products, theres a bright light for shinning the way. Although the trigger provides easy variable speeds, you also have the option of turning down the power (who does that?) On the base with a Mode button and green LEDs. Massive power, as I came out to my patio this morning, my inner self was delighted to see a lot of leaves from last night's wind. This provide me with a short video demo for you all. So in summary, if you are a Makita 18v owner and need a shop blower, easy decision. Don't buy something that will last you as long as the AZ return window. If you're not a Makita owner and thinking of making an investment into a high powered lightweight battery blower.. my advice is to start your Makita collection with this great value for money, long lasting tool that will serve you for decades and pick up your first 18v battery. Spend a little more and enjoy for a lot longer..

This is so much better than the knock off version of this tool I initially purchased. Someone left a review saying the knockoff was as good as the official makita version, what a lie. They are so different, the knock off was weak and broke within a year, this unit is so much more powerful and quiet, and just much better quality. The knock off was a cheap motor and had cheap (if any) bearing. Definitely worth the extra cost for the real thing.

Have many Makita products and none have disappointed. Recommend!

Has very impressive power and many uses... especially if your creative with finding new ways to use unique tools... lol... But it does what it's supposed to do and it's found a permanent place in my "ride or die" Milwaukee world...

A very versatile and must have for your shop

Definitely works to blow off your chopsaw tablesaw track saw workstation doesn’t blow as good as the Small blower but just enough for what I need it 4 doesn’t take up as much room in your toolbox. The way I have mine set up. It was perfect.

Its powerful, and a bit loud, but not so loud that i NEED hearing protection. I get a lot of leaves that pile up near my front door and its powerful enough to blow those away, but i can also use it for other things so i was happy to buy this over a leaf blower.

Exact specs as the XSA01Z, but a pound lighter AND you can attach a vacuum hose to this one. I own both now and will choose this one next time. I almost forgot it's $50 cheaper!!!

Después de evaluar muchas opciones fue la mejor, durable, portátil, baterías fáciles de conseguir, excelente para limpieza de electronicos, herramientas, y cualquier tarea rutinaria de quitar polvo o incluso secar rapido. Sería aún más genial si lo vendieran con su propio estuche de protección pero se puede hacer uno customizado. Si lo recomiendo.
