Works as intended.
Works as it should! Comes in a thick sealed bag that makes sure the borax is dry. A little bit goes along way. And the price is right for the amount you get.

Superb flux. Absolutely does what it claims. It protected $1,000 worth of gold wire from fire scale.
This flux... I can't say enough good things about it. It is high quality and works excellent. It protected gold wire from fire scale at 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit. You have to be generous with it. It is a flux that can do the job. I made a pair of reading glasses with $1,000 in gold wire and this flux protected the gold during gold soldering. This flux is excellent for torch soldering at high temperatures.

Add a little water crush it.
Works very well just remember to add a little water crush it a bit till it turns into a paste.
