I was looking for a Hula Hoop for beginners and the best ones were all priced above Rs. 1500. So, it was surprising to see this Hula Hoop priced around Rs. 600. I was doubtful about the quality of this product but it turned out to be really good! And unlike what some reviews say, it was not challenging to assemble the hoop. And no, I'm not a heavy-weight champ :) The only issue was that I was looking for a 'weighted' hoop and this was really light. Which is not good for beginners. But there was a way out! I got 700g of river sand from an Aquarium. And filled around 100g in each of the tube pieces. Then assembled the hoop, applied some feviqwik at the joints and after it had dried up, fastened it with insulation tape. And voila! Now I have a weighted hula hoop! :) And saved Rs. 1000 :D

Perfect size, plastic quality is good, well balanced, thickness is ok. Good for exercising

First of all I would like to thank Stuti Bhatia for her review specifically the line "But if you can continue till after the pain has subsided, I’m sure fitness isn’t too far away. After all, no pain, no gain right?"...This line kept me going. I am a complete beginner.Trust me,at first it will hurt so much... that's what atleast I faced.I got bruises in my belly.It was really painfull.Just wait for few days for the pain to get better and then try again.After repeating this few times your body will get adjusted. I didn't know these things.I was confused if I was doing something wrong or what but I didn't give up..and now I can do over 2 mins in just one month...just believe you can that's most important...give it some time.You are about to start a wonderful journey...and go for this hula hoop.. this is perfect for beginners...

Not adjustable. Not weighing 650 g. It's only around 300g. Just plastic.

Good quality product, Prefect size- 31 inch, as size is big its easy to use, good inner curves and easy to assemble. It doesn’t get brocken as other low quality ones.

The overall quality of the material is good and worth the price. But it is not easy to assemble, especially for someone with weak arms. It uses a insert-twist-lock method to join all the pieces together, but the insertion part is extremely tough. I understand that that may be the case to make the joints strong but you will need help from someone very strong. Also even after getting through most pieces the last joinery gets even tougher. If you are looking for something to assemble, then use and then dismantle again for easy storage or carrying, I would not recommend this product.

Finally after buying and returning hoola hoops from Ratna and Skee, I got this one and I can finally say this is a very good buy although comparatively this is little more expensive than Skee's and more than double of Ratna's. Yet the Pros are: 1) Very good packing and branding (both earlier ones didn't have any) 2) Appropriately weighted 3) 36" size with 8 segments 4) Very good color combination of international standards. Its the same as advertised. 5) Fool-proof interlocking mechanism, although the last locking is a bit tricky and was done by trial and error. Cons: Expensive

One of the most fun products I have bought from Amazon. As soon as it came, me and my sister started joining the pieces and learnt to hoola hoop from youtube. It is slightly hard to assemble and definitely not adjustable. But the full size is fine even for a kid.

Very nice easy to use only thing the plastic hurt you whe using and drips on your feet.

Do not let this product fool you, what looks like a good hula hoop actually physically hurts you. The assembling was quite easy but once I tried to use it I had to stop. The material it is made with really hurts while exercising. Do not recommend.
