Works as advertised but misses out on some detail
I got this yesterday (26th oct 24) and tried setting it up with just the quick reference guide. The lancet device initially would not work, the spring seemed stuck and after a few tries I got it to work. I had to resort to the user guide to set time and date. The UI could have been programmed easily to show what function was being set.. The battery which is supposed to be included was not in the package anywhere, I dont know if they deliberately left it out to cut costs or not. I had to buy another battery to make it work. Small but important details Anyway that's why only 4 stars.

Faulty, dangerous product
Never ever buy this item, my pregnant wife's sugar was on borderline in regular health checkup. Her doctor recommended to make a chart for 3 days, we used the product in which all the readings were observed higher than usual range. Basis this doctor started giving medicine to keep sugar under control. For a second thought, I get my wife's sugar checked again from lab test and it came in pretty normal range. Due to this item, we took the medicine. Very risky, should be banned such products, play with the life
