My friend loves it!
We live in a beach town - with alligators. My friend saw mine one day and loved it so I got one for her. You can use this for toilet paper of paper towels - really cute conversation piece!

Seems to be stable and heavy enough for paper towel holder
It’s a gift that I haven’t given to the recipient yet but I have the cat and it seems great. Only complaint I have is that the itty bitty screw to attach the two pieces had come detached from the packing and I thought I was out of luck till I looked one last time and found it by the Grace of God. That’s an important piece- should be absolutely sure to secure that itty bitty piece

Sturdy but troubles unrolling towel occasionally
Heavy and really cool looking. I treated a 4 only because the paper gets stuck when trying to unroll occasionally. Very cool and sturdy piece though.

Funny!
I had one of a Daschund for many years and replaced it with the Alligator. It's just the right size and rather funny. My only advice is to keep it in a place it can't be knocked over.

Shop at the expensive places but buy from Amazon!
I saw an alligator toilet tissue holder in a rather expensive catalog for 3x the cost of the one I got from Amazon. When it arrived a checked it closely to compare it to the expensive one, and it looks identical! Its solid, heavy, and adorable!

Alligators in the bathroom
I bought this alligator for toilet paper in the bathroom, but it would be just as much fun in the kitchen for paper towels. It is quirky and unexpected. In my small, poorly designed bathroom it's handy since it holds two rolls. My adult daughter saw it and immediately said: I want one! My only wish: I'd like the tail to be fully vertical.

Very small
Bought this for gift and they told me this is very small. Better suited for a ring holder. Personally, I have no direct knowledge. As I said, this was a gift.

Adorable, and useful!
This is a nice weight, and adorable. I used it for yarn that I want to pull from the outside of the cake. I put the yarn on a small piece of pvc pipe then a small bit of pipe insulation to hold it up. Love this!
