Yes, it mixed well with potting soil and sand that I need for a pineapple plant. I liked the packaging too. It’s a ziplock closure. I was impressed.

I did a major re-potting of my weeping ficus last winter, and completely changed the soil. I wanted to make sure I had a soil that the ficus would love, so I had to use perlite to ensure that the soil had sufficient drainage. I also had to do a heavy pruning of the tree, so I was concerned how it would recover, but 9 months on, you can see by the photos that the ficus is not only thriving, it growing faster than I have EVER seen it, and I've had this tree since the 80s! It is LOVING the soil mix with the perlite, and I couldn't be happier with its growth. I am going to have to prune it again this winter at the rate it is growing! I am very happy with the results of mixing this with the plant soil I used, and would definitely recommend this for anyone else who needs to re-pot a ficus.
