Garden Claw GC 20-06 Garden Claw - Gold/blue

I don't know why it took me so long to order one of these. I first saw one in a garden centre many years ago and always thought that I'd get one. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today so today was the day! I've literally had it for two hours and I already think that that it's an amazing piece of kit. I've been all over my borders and it has broken up the soil with ease leaving it looking lovely and freshly turned. It is SO much more effective than using a hoe and SO much easier than a spade. With regular use my borders are going to look fantastic and it's going to take so little effort. When it arrived I thought that I would be using it like a spade by putting my foot on it so that the prongs went all of the way in and then twisting. This approach would take an awful lot of effort - especially in clay heavy soil. Instead I've found myself pushing the prongs into the soil around three inches deep, twisting and covering a large area in such a short amount of time. It's all very easy and I would highly recommend that you purchase one. This is stating the obvious but the better the soil the easier using this tool will be. There's an area of my border which has clay and the tool is more difficult to use. On my crumbly soil it's amazingly easy. My only small gripe is that the handle grips could benefit from being upgraded as they're not very substantial.

The garden claw is an excellent product, it makes breaking or turning soil much easier and reduces back strain. It is great for loosening weeds and is very well built.

Great product does the job really well. Tip - Fit some insulation tape between the handle and stem join and the claw and stem join that will fix any wobbles.

Was a little difficult to assemble. But great and easy to use on my boarders in my large garden. Made it easier to clear the weeds. Would recommend this product.

Brilliant device. Sturdy and well made. Use it all the time on the allotment. Only downside is that it won't work on hard baked soil, but then again you would struggle with a traditional fork in those circumstances. Great for upper body workout - Gets rid of those bingo wings!

Brilliant garden tool. Takes the hard work out of breaking up the surface of the soil without disturbing other plants. A wonderful tool

Purchased today, it's easier to turn the soil over than a spade or fork but needs better padding on the handles as it scraped some skin off my thumb. Today's lesson... Wear gloves!

i have owned a garden claw for many years and my previous one was stolen from allotment shed and it was the one tool i missed the most. it is very good as a final tiller and keeps bringing up more weeds so does a very thorough job

I do not need a rototiller for my garden at all! I bought one of these Garden Claws over 15years ago, and it actually was used so much for so long, it got worn out. We should have maintained it better by tightening screws when they loosened. It is a must for our garden from stirring up the top soil, loosening weeds, and blending in the compost material, it works great! Best garden tool EVER!

Facile à utiliser et solide. Pratique quand on a très mal au dos et qu'on ne peut pas utiliser une bêche "normale". On va moins profond qu'avec une bêche "normale" mais ça ne change rien aux plantations futures. C'est même mieux pour la biodiversité de la terre. Par contre, il y a un peu de jeu entre la poignée et le manche. Un peu gênant à l'usage... Le prix est aussi un peu cher...
