Two bad ones in a row
First one I received had a LED out. Tested on confirmed good cables that were confirmed with a multimeter. I was sent a replacement...which also has a LED out. Assuming poor quality control and no individual item testing. Great idea but poor quality.

Great tester
It let's you know the condition of your cable instantly. Very easy to use,and should last a long time. Only wish that it used a different battery ( comes with a A23 12v ).

This product doesn't work at all.
I went and try to test my microphone wire tester I just bought. It doesn't work at all - I put in the battery that came with it. It did lit up one end and 1 light at the other end then no light anymore after few minutes. I need to return and get my money back.
