Very cool.
Unpainted, good quality terrain. It didn't include instructions, though. I understand that it's incredibly modular, but it took me a hot minute to figure it out. Other than that, Mantic is great.

Good stuff
These are pretty cool. There aren’t instructions so you need to follow the box art or get creative. I also wouldn’t bother with leaving the pieces unglued, I glued all mine in and they look better plus the pieces don’t hold very well.

One of the best options for the money - Despite quality control issues
Pros: -Looks good -Completely customizable -All pieces are cut out of the sprue already, so its ready to assemble out of the box Cons: -Lack of consistency in mold quality ‐Pieces have leftover burrs from where they connected to the sprue -Modularity will likely not be a thing if you have the same issues I do This stuff is awesome, for the price, you get awesome terrain for any sci fi game. To me one of the biggest pluses I was looking forward to was the modularity. But that was really my only issue with this set, there is a serious lack of quality control on display here. The connecting pieces varied quite a bit in size. Some pieces were too large to fit into the slots on the panels, and others were so small that they didn't connect at all. When you are midway through setting up this terrain and an entire wall falls apart, it's a pretty annoying process putting it all back together, especially when other things may fall off in the process. There were also burrs left over on every single piece. So if you are a perfectionist, expect a fair amount of work with a hobby knife. All in all, that's pretty disappointing. I loved the idea of being able to change this terrain as I saw fit for different matchups, boards, and games. But it's not the end of the world, if I can't find a solution to make the build process less painful, I will find the layouts that work best for me and glue some buildings together. Once I am done with those initial problems, I won't have to worry about them again and these buildings will look great all painted up. I highly recommend this over the battle systems terrain, as the prices are pretty similar, and you get molded plastic as opposed to flat, printed out cards. Even with the quality issues this will look MUCH better than flat, textureless panels.

Good starting scifi terrain
I am pretty pleased with this buy. It's made out of plastic so it's durable and heavy enough so it won't shift if you nudge the table. The detail is OK but that's fine for terrain (and probably preferable so you don't have to spend tons of time painting it). I only had a couple of problems. First, I had to do quite a bit of cleaning up mold lines and cutting off plastic where the sprues connected to the parts. I also wish it came with some sample assembly instructions for ideas of how to put it together, it is pretty overwhelming having all these parts and not really having any idea how to put them together.

Honest Review
Love the detail and the varies possibilities of combinations. wish the connecting bits didn't fall apart so easily. Rather it be More like Dungeons & Lasers.

I love this set!
I absolutely adore this set! I use mine for Warhammer 40K and for Kill Team. You could certainly use this for Star Wars or any other sci-fi miniature games. With one box you can build enough terrain for a 500 point game or Kill Team match, but you might need to buy another or one of the other Terrain Crate boxes if you want a full sized tournament table. It required some clean up. They come pre-clipped off of the sprues, but you do need to remove mold lines and sand down some nubs. I spent a few afternoons cleaning up, but it was worth it in the end to get the nice flush fit. Putting these together felt a bit like legos. They use a clip system that lets you connect just about any two pieces together and you can get some pretty fun designs out of this set. I wound up putting in a thin layer of super glue on edges where they connect for rigidity. Part of the appeal is the modularity, so you can disassemble and rearrange these any way you want. This gives so much, the pieces look so good, and they're such a joy to put together. I highly recommend this. Especially if you're on a budget. 5/5 Stars.

Useless Garbage
I spent £260 on Mantic modular scenery. All four sets went to the garbage bin. I was not able to acceptably assemble even a single block. Connectors are louse, or not pushing through. Even small single block will be shaky and not usable for gaming. You can't use plastic model glue like Revell on this type of plastic, you need to use superglue. How you can use superglue for connecting 1000 parts?! Avoid this set, avoid Mantic.

Sehr gutes Terrain Crate-Set
Super Preisleistungsverhältnis, wenn man auf klassische Plattenbauten im Tabletop steht und etwas für einen Skirmisher wie Deadzone oder das nicht so taktische Kill Team benötigt.

Incredibly hard to build and easily falls apart
First thing wrong is there is no instructions for any pre built buildings, alot of the connector pieces do not fit properly after you've pieced the bottom floor together putting on a roof or upper floor is a nightmare the connectors require more force to pop together than what they can handle so you'll end up knocking walls or floors down easily. On the plus side if you do manage to make a building it looks nice you can have a lot of broken down walls for cover but building the actual building was a nightmare. The buildings can support models but if not careful the walls or floors are easily popped off, you could glue them together but then you lose the ability to change the terrain
