I’ve been using the Kitchen Roll Holder for months now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The rubberwood design gives it a warm, natural look that fits beautifully into my kitchen. It’s simple but elegant and perfect if you’re trying to go for a minimalist or eco conscious aesthetic. The build quality is excellent and sturdy enough that it doesn’t tip over when pulling a sheet, and the base has a good weight to it. Overall, a great little addition to the home, it is practical, well made, and eco friendly. Highly recommend!

Well-constructed, sturdy, nice finish. This thing is solidly put-together, with no visible fixings. Simple, sleek, and a good price at the £5.99 I paid. My one niggle is it's not quite wide enough for the jumbo rolls I buy (pictured), meaning the rolls are overhanging the base, and the friction that would otherwise keep the paper from unfurling isn't there. I'd imagine it's wide enough for a standard kitchen roll. An upgraded version would maybe benefit from a second dowel to prevent this, but for a basic model and at £5.99 I really can't fault this. I actually bought a second one for my kitchen (where I make sure to keep it well away from the stove due to the aforementioned unfurling issue!)

Bought this mainly for the kitchen and it fits in well with a more natural-looking setup. The rubberwood gives it a clean, simple appearance, and it feels nicer than cheap plastic holders. It holds kitchen roll securely and is easy to load, and the compact design means it doesn’t take up too much counter space. The base is stable enough for normal use, and I like that it has a more eco-friendly feel compared to metal or plastic alternatives. The only downside is that it’s lighter than I expected, so it can move around a bit when tearing sheets one-handed. It also feels more decorative than heavy-duty, so I’d avoid being too rough with it. Overall, a decent everyday holder if you want something simple, functional, and more natural-looking for the kitchen or bathroom.

Pleased with mug tree

Great looking & very usable, stable on worktop

Works as described and quality is good.

I use this kitchen towel holder to store a roll of Bounty (the regular-sized pack you can pick up in any supermarket). Despite being made from solid wood, it's slightly too light and moves around the worktop as you try to rip off the sheets. You definitely need two hands if you want to avoid wasting lots of paper! This could quite easily and cheaply be solved with rubber feet on the base of the towel holder. Not only would this stop it from sliding around, it would also avoid wear, tear, scuffs and scratches on the work surface. This holder is also slightly too small for a regular roll of kitchen paper, so you can't see the wooden base until over half the sheets are gone. This spoils the appearance of the item for the majority of its working life. On the plus side, the holder is keenly priced and looks nice alongside the matching mug tree from Premier Housewares (also sold by Amazon). It's not bad, and alright for everyday kitchen use. But if you can afford to spend a bit more on a kitchen roll holder, you might find it's a better investment.
