Hi there! Is this coffee fair trade?

I have read several expose's that indicated that fair trade coffee is usually inferior. Guarantee a price to the farmer and he will cull out his worst part of the crop for that fair trade guaranteed price. But sell the best part of his crop for a premium price.

Where do you get the artificial hazelnut flavor from?

The flavor is an organic compound called an "ester" created via a chemical reaction to artificially simulate the natural flavor. Therefore, it is called an artificial flavor, i.e. a lab-created organic chemical compound. The esters can closely replicate the original, but residual reagents can make their presence known, sometimes leaving a chemical aftertaste.

Does this have added sugar with the "natural flavor" added? i don't see nutritional panel anywhere

Only info on the ingredients are Ground Coffee and artificial flavor. Sorry but there isn't even a "nutritional panel".

Fantastic Flavor, extremely strong.

Extremely strong. Had to cut down by over half the usual amount because it upset my stomach. Excellent taste and acidity, but be warned you may need to start with less than normal or cut it with grocery store brand.

Ground is meh, get whole bean

I accidentally got the ground version— I usually get the whole bean. The pre ground makes it meh. Love the whole bean version though.

Missed the Mark

I had high hopes for this considering all the positive reviews but this blend missed the mark entirely. One of the most acidic coffees I have had in awhile and no where near the other donut shop blends distributed by other brands. I like other blends under this company but this one really missed the mark.
