Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TMNT Classic Technodrome Playset - Amazon Exclusive

I often see complaints about the size of this toy, but honestly, it’s not significantly smaller than the original. Yes, you could shell out big bucks for a vintage model, but this new, complete version offers incredible value at a fraction of the price. While the assembly comes with over 50 stickers—something I wasn't too thrilled about—it wasn’t difficult to put together. Even if you don’t own any Ninja Turtles figures, this toy still delivers countless hours of imaginative play. You can easily incorporate Star Wars figures to create an epic imperial or separatist droid superweapon, or transform it into an alien command ship. It also makes for an exciting fortress where toy soldiers or cars can engage in thrilling battles or daring escapes. This toy sparks creativity and imagination, and while it's not as robust as the original, its lighter weight makes it easier to carry around for playtime. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The box art alone makes this worth it! This is an awesome reissue from Playmates Toys. It's a bit smaller than the original, but it's spot on in detail, and even has all the stickers the original had. Also the paint job is 100% accurate to the original. If you never owned the original, this is a great opportunity to get one new in box for under $100. The vintage one goes for almost a thousand dollars in box. And these boxes are recreated spot on, and in better condition than most of the vintage ones. They are also planning to reissue the 1989 sewer lair playset next year, so this will go well with that and all the figures they have reissued in the last few years!

I think if we consider that making it slightly smaller than the original likely had to do with affordability and keeping the price point at $80, than we can better get over loosing an inch of play space here and there with this playset. I find the size is adequate for play while still recognizing that the original was superior in that regard. The eyeball feature is not an issue on my copy, The box art is beautiful and the assembly was worth the effort. It feels sturdy and the plastic doesn’t feel cheap. Mine came missing a piece called the mutation mat. I was able to E-mail Playmates about the issue and a replacement piece has already arrived! Great customer service from them! It is a must have collector piece and totally fun toy from the greatest action figure era ever! My turtles have been running amok all over this playset and it has not been put away even once since it arrived. I even let the kids play with it too sometimes!

Product arrived promptly and given as a gift. The child enjoyed the product very much.

I still have have the original version that I got as a kid about 35 years ago and my son really likes mine so I found him this remake version and while it's pretty cool, I was a little disappointed with it. First it's smaller than the original which is a bummer as the remake of the original turtle figures stayed the same size as the original figures so it looks a little off. Secondly the plastic isn't that great as the sides of the dome itself are very flimsy and you can physically bend them. One thing to watch out for is the eye that sits on top doesn't stay on like the original. The slightest tap and it falls off and rolls away. If you have an original and are looking to buy this just to replace parts that are missing, just be warned the might not fit as the new version is smaller and the plastic pieces are poorly made. Overall my son likes it and we play with it together often.

I bought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Technodrome mainly to display the box. The box art is fantastic and as close as it can be to what I remember from my childhood. I did notice it’s about 10% smaller than the original, but that doesn’t matter to me since I’m just displaying the box for the nostalgia vibes. Amazon does a great job with shipping—it comes double-packaged and arrived flawless. Overall, I’m very happy with this collectible.

My kid born in 2021 now gets to enjoy the same Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles experience I had in the 1980s. The assembly was harder than expected and included over 42 decals, but it was well worth it. The toy is incredibly well built, has awesome detail and a nostalgic 1980s feel of the original The ability to relive my own childhood through my 4 1/2 year-old son is priceless.

I never had this playset growing up so was happy to get a complete Technodrome for under $100 and complete. Was not aware of the size difference so was no bother to me.

Bellissimo tutto perfetto

Item received in good condition with original brown carton box. Very happy with purchase.

Cool colectors item

El producto cumplio con mis expectativas
