how long is the cable?

The cable attached to the actuators is about 6 feet long, the extension cables that come with the kit are 20 feet long. You can buy additional extension cable if necessary.

is this everything needed? is everything pictured? isn't there a control box of some sort needed behind helm?

Easy to install and operate. And exceeded my expectations with my boat dolpining.

These make a huge different to the stability of the boat and well as performance. Depending on the amount of people on the boat I can change the position to get on plane quickly. If there is too much weight on one side I can stabilize the boat. Had them for about a month, take people out about 5 times a week and havent had any issues.
