I was after a cheap action camera for use while cycling. I didn't want to spend on top brand devices, as it would only be used infrequently. Obviously with a lower price, there are sacrifices.. Usually with image quality. For me I didn't need the best high-res 4K image, with the best lens, but still had a high expectation of image quality. After much research of products across Amazon, I settled on this Apexcam Action Camera. Never personally heard of the brand before. There was a deal on, and thought I'd take a punt as reviews looked good, as did image quality. Not only do you get the camera, you get every type of mounting that you can think of... It came with 2 small batteries and a neat little charger that will charge both (together) as well as being a MicroSD card reader in one unit. Build quality of the Camera/batteries and charger unit are fantastic, and would be something that you would see on more expensive products. There is an external remote control that you can use to take photos, switch between video and photos. There is no touch screen to this model, but once you get your head around what buttons do what, it's pretty easy to use. Video/picture quality is really great for the price. I wasn't expecting anything ground-breaking with the cost, but overall its exceeded expectations. Yes the sky does get blown out a little, but I have seen far worse. The image is crisp and clear, and the image stabilisation does the job! I did have one small issue, that Support were able to resolve for me.. They were very responsive and I have been suitably impressed. Overall you get a LOT of 'bang for your buck'.. If you want a better than average cheap action camera, with a ton of accessories, you really cannot fault it. I highly recommend it.

Great camera, clear video and pictures, the underwater housing works very well, I use it for surfing and spearfishing and stays waterproof.. Recommended.

I can't comment on the playback video as I've not put a card in it yet but it was easy to install despite the fact you get a million things to use (this is a plus), very steady and water is yet to penetrate the case. VERY EASY TO REMOVE FAST, found the clip on the case very useful,all in all it is a great camera

If you’re new to action cameras like me and want to film adventures on a budget, the Apexcam M80 AIR 4K Action Camera is really brilliant! It’s easy to use, packed with accessories, and great value. I love using it for bike rides and seaside trips. The box is full of gear—helmet and bike mounts, a waterproof case, a wrist remote, two batteries, and a carrying case. I won’t use everything, but the waterproof case is fantastic for filming in the sea. Setup was simple: I popped in my 64GB memory card, and it was ready in seconds. The clear screen and buttons are so easy, I skipped the manual. I’ve filmed cycling, kayaking, and snorkelling. The threaded mount lets me attach it to my helmet or bike, staying secure for exciting shots. The 4K videos are clear and colourful—way better than my phone—perfect for sharing. Photos are good too. The WiFi and app are handy. I connect to my phone to view shots or share clips quickly. The wrist remote is great for starting recordings while cycling (not for use underwater!). The batteries last about an hour each, and with two, I’m set for a day. Charging is easy, though swapping batteries resets the date, which is a small bother. It’s small, tough, and survives drops. The waterproof case is reliable in rain. For the price, it’s a steal, making my videos look impressive. If you’re a beginner, this camera is a fantastic, fun choice!

If I could give minus 5 stars I would! Bought this €45 “4K waterproof” action cam online right before a long holiday, big mistake. • Water damage on the FIRST dive – Waterproof case was clipped shut, seals checked, taken to ~2 m depth for 10 mins. Came up with fog inside the housing; water had seeped in and fried the camera. It’s now completely dead – won’t even power on. Refund impossible while abroad – Seller’s policy gave me until 31 October to return. I was still on holiday without the original box or access to proper postage. This is false advertising – they market it as “40 m waterproof” when it can’t handle a shallow snorkel. Lost €45 and all the underwater footage I’d planned for the trip. Do not buy. Spend the extra on a real brand or just use a phone pouch. This thing belongs in the bin, not on your holiday.

For 'most' casual users this is a great product at a great price, with a few annoying quirks. Easily the best part of this product is the Case & the accessories which cone with it, including a USB C mic. 🔋 Battery life is NOT a concern when recording in 2K, but 4K with WiFi on is a killer. The double charger is useful and nicely contained/doubles as a battery case. 1 Remote Control activates all 3 cameras, which is what I wanted, so that is a huge positive. 📷 Quality is decent in good lighting conditions, using quick 5 shot mode to increase chances of getting a good shot. Lack of zoom limits functionality. 📹 Quality is decent enough in natural light, auto ISO obviously introduces grain, as this is a budget cam, but at 4K it doesn't deliver what 4K is all about. 2K is my go to (for file size and battery life) but it is an unknown 2K resolution and doesn't look great in bright light conditions. Biggest issue/concerns : Sometimes the remote didn't work. Often the camera tried to reformat the card when I hit record. When it came to editing the naming conventions were all over the place. Dates changed on the fly, and I was unable to order files in date recorded format.

Very good quality! Battery lasts ages, and it’s very good value for money! 50 pounds is a very good price for this

Apex 4K action camera and accessories: The item arrived today, so I've not had much time to try different environments. The case organises things very well, and is well made. There is what looks like a wrist strap, but it's too small for that, so it's a handle. There are more accessories than I realised, including an external microphone. In the picture, this looks like it connects via a 3.5mm jack, but it's actually USB-C, so can also be used on my mobile phone – excellent! The remote control will be very useful as I want to mount the camera on the front of my kayak, but won't be able to reach it. There is a battery in the remote control, plus a spare! The battery charger doubles as a battery storage case. Two things to note: - The lens is wide angle so things near the edge of the video frame will appear curved. This is demonstrated in the image provided on the listing. - The hardcopy manual is just a QR code to download the actual manual digitally. I prefer digital as I can have it on my phone, and with me at all times. There are many options for the camera settings, and it will need time and experience to get the best results, so no verdict on the image quality at this time.

La action cam non è male, la qualità delle immagini chiaramente è commisurata al valore economico e quindi sufficiente. Il problema serio è che questa action cam, una volta immersa in acqua, con la custodia waterprof, perde il grandangolo, in pratica è come se la lente della custodia facesse da lente di ingrandimento e quindi si riduce notevolmente il campo visivo. Peccato perché a quel prezzo non era per niente male.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, je trouves que la meilleure qualité restes en 1080p 120ips avec le EIS activé, la 4k est bonne mais la fréquence d'image gâche un peu la vidéo, mais pour le prix, j’ai été super surpris, sans compter le nombre d'accessoires fournis avec, je recommande pour ceux qui en auront une utilisation occasionnelle!

Die Kamera und ihr vielseitiges Zubehör macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Es wird alles in einer praktischen Tasche geliefert, in dem alles sicher verstaut ist. Besonders freut mich die gute Bildqualität der Aufnahmen. Durch die 64Gb Karte, ist genug Platz für meine Aufnahmen. Das mitgelieferte Ladegerät für die beiden Akkus ist klein und praktisch. Das Zubehör sehr vielseitig. Ich nutzte die Kamera für Aufnahmen im Wasser mit meinem SUB Board. Ich kann diese Kamera wirklich empfehlen!
